Chapter 1: A Normal School Day.

I wasn’t any different from any of my other classmates, I was just a twelve year old boy, constantly looking for education at my elementary school, Francis Dinkle Elementary School. My mother, Mildred always tried her best to give me the best life possible, but it was never possible for her since she was an alcoholic, even though she tried quitting multiple times but life was too cruel to my poor, sweet and dear mother.

“Marvin, I don’t feel so good… I can’t take you to school today, please do forgive your poor sicken mother.”

“Of course I will, you are my mother, if you don’t mind, I’d like to take an extra rest while you tend to your duties.”

With that, I so foolishly returned to my bedroom and fell asleep, unaware of the unimaginable horrors I had unleashed onto the world, for when I woke again, I was covered in a thick spider web, I tried to struggle, to squirm, but when I saw who bound me in these thick webs, a strange woman with four eyes, a strange smile, four arms, each holding either a teapot or tea cups, she wore a Victorian maid dress and she simply loomed over me before with one of her eight massive spider legs, broke me free and simply asked.

“Care for a cup of tea, my good sir? Or perhaps you’re into more disgusting concoctions such as coffee, so dark and so… bitter.”

“No ma’am, my mother said not to take anything from a stranger such as yourself.”

“Stranger? How rude, I am Abigale Vontra Moria, and you, sir, are a bad, wicked and evil little brat that perhaps instead of my hospitality, I’ll give you a swift punishment.”

She then lunged at me, her eyes turning blood red, her pupils vanishing without a trace, I tried to flee, like the flea she saw me as, but when I opened my bedroom door, the whole hallway was covered in thick spider webs nonetheless, I ran with each step I took I could hear laughing from behind and then as simple as this seemingly terrifying nightmare began, I awoke in my bed, having accidentally wet myself.

By dawn’s early morning, my mother was quite fine now as she drove me to my school, where I was running through the hallways to get to my classroom when suddenly this awful young man by the name of Bruce had his leg out in the hall, I tripped and fell onto the floor and when I looked up, he had the audacity and the nerve to laugh at me.

“Watch where you’re going next time, you stupid ugly nerd! Hahaha!”

I hated him, I hated that smug grin he always gave anyone he deemed as weak and easily manipulated, I hated his sweater, I never liked stripes but white and green stripes were somehow even worse, nonetheless I returned to my feet and entered my class, and as the lesson began, I strange vision, of an arm, this arm was very long, as long as a snake, it had brightly colored white and green stripes, attached to a three-fingered hand with an eyeball with a brown iris, it tripped an African American boy named Marcus and when the limb returned to its owner, it pulled its lips apart, revealing a wide, tooth filled smile and semi-circle eyes which screamed trouble and mischief. I steeled myself and continued to pay attention to the teacher, just what were these visions of mine? First that spider lady and now this creature, I could only fear the worst.
