A Quiet Emotional Read
"I really enjoyed this story. There’s something about the way the characters interact that feels very natural, and I especially loved the sense of comfort that slowly develops between them. It never felt like their connection was being forced, which made the emotional moments feel much more genuine. What stayed with me most was the atmosphere. Some of the quieter moments had this strange feeling of warmth and familiarity, almost like finding a place where you can finally breathe. I didn't expect the story to make me feel that way, but I really liked it. My only suggestion would be to make some of the chapters a little longer, especially when something emotional is happening. There were a few moments where I found myself wanting just a little more before the chapter ended. Definitely one of those stories where the quieter moments ended up staying with me the longest."
Very Descriptive
"After reading, the first few chapters I will be back to continue to read the rest. It is definitely one that will pull on the heart strings and make you question as you are reading. The writer does a great job with explaining the characters emotions in detail and giving you a POV of how he views the world around him. For the writer, I am excited to continue the story, and hope to see more dialogue and understanding more of the character. "
A mystery indeed.
"It's been a while since I read a mystery, and this one immediately pulled me in. The whole story has this gray, melancholic atmosphere that perfectly matches the emotional weight of it. What stood out to me the most was the main character. He's carrying so much guilt that he can barely function. He's constantly replaying the past, wondering what he could've done differently. That honestly felt so real. I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling, especially after losing someone unexpectedly. You keep asking yourself, "What if I'd noticed something? What if I'd been there? Could I have changed what happened?" I think the author captured that kind of guilt and grief really well. My only suggestions would be to vary the sentence lengths a bit more, as the frequent short sentences sometimes interrupted the flow. I also found the timeline jumps a little confusing. Moving from the present to 24 hours ago, then five days ago, made it hard to keep track of where I was in the story. Smoother transitions or clearer cues between timelines would make the reading experience much easier. I also noticed a few small grammar slips, but those are easy fixes. Overall, I really enjoyed it, and I'm excited to see where the story goes next. "
A good time
"This story start very slow, i couldn't put a finger on what was this story about until the chapter 4. The writing skills aren't a miss at all, everything is wonderfully described the problem is the very repetitive descriptions from a chapter to another. The cliffhangers should be placed at better strategic points, but the more i read the more i could understand the plot better even if it was not easy. The author obviously knows how to write but i could advice to make an outline so the important scenes will be better placed ( which moment of the chapter ect...) It feels like a story full of surprises and suspense. Overall, i actually enjoyed it ! "
