A NIGHT
It was raining lightly, but noticeable ... as if the clouds were pushed to their limits and the tears just dropping without even them noticing. I was sitting on my balcony with a cup of chai... the very desi-Indian thing which helps no matter what your mood is. I took a sip while watching the droplets fall from God-knows what height to the ground... it hits the ground firm yet soft as if remembering it's touches again. Monsoon season always have its way of having an impact on the people whenever it comes. Like in me, it always reminds me of everything, every choices, every mistakes, every times when life was tough, every moments when the life was comforting... but it always the lesson learned from it that shatter us from inside.
And like a habit I remembered him... the only person I thought would never leave...
But life has its own way of making you realize that nothing is yours at all...
As the saying goes:
“Kuch cheezne beshak tumhare liye hote hai... per tumhara nhi hai.”
(Somethings are for you but not really yours...)
