"It's an interesting concept. The perhaps could have done a little more with the gowing bio-AI as well as the crews concepts and individual thoughts. Most humans would have tried to destroy it."
The Axiom's Conscience
"I liked the story idea a lot and thought that the author's writing was good. I think the story could have benefited with a more developed story line as some of the chapters were very repetitive especially towards the end. Specifically, I felt like there was only one major conflict in the story, the Ship vs the crew and so the last few chapters the crew learned the same lesson and the only thing that had character development was the ship. I would have been interested why the crew was on the ship to begin with and would have liked to be shown the individual background the crew more. I think the crew's original objective was to explore right? But why? and how were they going to do this and didn't they fail to do this, what were the consequences of that? Also, there are moments where tangents could have been so cool! Like Kael's fear/anger, could have been developed into harming the ship and turned into a whole interesting side tangent of negative impact on the AI lessons on ethics. Also going through the ship's finding purpose and going to different planets or even like an ending where we see what the author envisioned the ship developing into after the crew passes away (or if the ship tried to expand the life of the crew or if the crew creates a family or if the ship decides to create more of itself or if the ship let the crew go back to where every they came from ect...). Of course, this is all just my opinion and I truly did like the story, and I see the potential of it."
