A Bolt of Lightning
This piece may seem a little off, but it isn't. I wrote it to show what sex should mean.
What it means to me.
ALL of my stories are about that, somehow. Sex is more than merely 'smut' or a joke we laugh at 12. It's about connection. It's an intimate act that could make all the difference, and it should be inherently entangled to love.
And love is but ONE thing that means everything we're still trying to figure out.
Love heals. Love saves. Love is an energy.
*This passes right after the end of the first Back to the Future, right after Marty leaves and the Doc yipes happily in the street.*
As the Doctor celebrated, he noticed there was someone staring at him, curiously.
A girl. A sweet little thing watching him in the storm with astonished hazel eyes, trying not to fly along with her blue dress.
“Ain’t it past your bedtime?” he asked, not really interested in the answer.
“Um… Doctor Brown… I just graduated and I um… I traveled all the way here from New York!”
“Really, kid? Where did you graduate?”
She stuttered.
“Harvard?”
He was not in the mood to entertain one from the curious mob.
“What was that experiment you were making?”
He rolled eyes and dismissed the annoying little girl.
“Will you leave me alone in this storm? At least take me with y– don’t leave me alone here…” she ended the sentence in a small voice.
Who was that girl, asking him for favors like he owed her anything? But Emmett Brown noticed… The little girl looked really desolated. The Doc put his coat around her and asked.
“I’m gonna take you to my house. But don’t pester me, Little Girl! What’s your name?”
“Penny. Penny Lane.”
“Your name is Penny Lane?”
“Does it matter?” She asked out of breath, trying to match his strides.
“Considering you lied about everything else, I guess not.”
The little girl was hungry. For the first time in years the Doc ordered Burger King. He honestly had to admit… It was sweet watching her eat and watch TV with him.
“So, Little Girl… What is it you really want?”
“I– um… I never went to Harvard. I’m Harold Goldstein’s granddaughter. I ran away from home to see you. I wanted to know if you were as amazing as his journals said. I’m sorry.”
Emmett Brown remembered. Harold and him… They had a fall out. Years ago. So he had a granddaughter?
“How old are you, Penny? And don’t lie.”
“I’m 21! You won’t believe me anyway.”
“Damn right I won’t!”
“Let me– sleep with me! I promise I’ll never bother you again if you do!”
The doctor nearly gagged. That was sudden.
“You sell yourself too short, Little Girl. Over a sandwich?”
“No, that’s why I came here! You are as amazing as I imagined! Am I this really abhorrent to you?”
Doc Brown just couldn’t believe the situation he was in.
“I’d never forgive myself if I took advantage of a sweet pie like you. And neither would Harold, I suppose… You have to go home, Penny! How’s– how’s Harold?”
“Oh, he’s dead… I’ve been going from foster home to foster home. I escaped this last one because my ‘brother’ tried to rape me. I stole all his money to come here! Don’t worry, he won’t be able to track me down. I’m all alone now! I--I’m sorry I came here.”
“It’s all right, Little Girl. Do you have the journals?”
“Yeah, they’re in my suitcase.”
Suitcases? How could he have missed that?
“I’ll prepare you a bath, Little Girl. Then, I’ll put you to bed. And that’s all.”
As the Doc pretended to watch TV in the armchair, he left the biggest sofa to the girl. She didn’t want to use a room. She acted like she was glued to him. It was unnerving.
“Doctor…”
“No, Little Girl. We’ve already talked about it.”
“Why? Am I not good enough for you? I escaped really evil people to come here! I’ve been alone most of my life! And you stare at me like I’m trash!”
She looked utterly distraught.
“All right, Little Girl. Let’s start by telling the truth. How old are you?”
She hesitated.
“Seventeen…”
He sighed, holding the bridge of his nose.
“Penny, if we go through with this, there’s no going back. I won’t lie, you’re a sweet, vulnerable little girl… It’s very appealing to someone like me.”
She nodded, trying to disguise her excitement.
“I’ll do anything you say.”
He kneeled in front of her, playing with her long, honey-amber hair, touching her pouty, rosy lips.
Her breath hitched.
“Little Girl… I can’t do that to you…”
But he changed his mind as soon as her soft, strawberry flavored lips found his. Lying her on the sofa, they kissed like a couple of teenagers, as she opened her legs holding him as if he’d escape, as he laid on her soft breasts.
“So that’s what I’ve been missing…” he placed his hand under her pink pajama blouse. The girl moaned as he played with her breasts. He pulled the pajama’s shirt over her head and stared at the sight. Penny flushed as he hissed, touching her pink nipples with his thumbs as the girl moaned. Before he could stop himself, the Doc suckled a taut nipple. Then the other. He couldn’t stop, it was addicting. The more Penny shouted the more uncomfortable his own pajama pants got.
“Are you all right, sweet girl?” The Doc looked down on her, pulling down her wet PJ’s pants, aware of how aroused she was. “I’ll play with you a little, all right?” he pulled down her panties.
Penny had never felt so beautiful as that tough, hot man stared at her. But the cryptic way he was staring now started to worry her.
Penny suddenly remembered why, as the scientist traced each cut on her legs. Some seemed to have been quite deep.
“Penny…” he said, horrified, as he touched the scars.
“I’m so sorry, I forgot!” she tried to shrink away from him.
Now he realized why that girl needed him so much.
“Don’t cry, Penny. Don’t cry, it’s all right,” he kissed her scarred thighs. “Open your legs baby,” she did. It was horrifying. Her inner thighs were even more badly scarred. He didn’t want to hurt her by making the girl feel like a freak. He didn’t know what to do, so he gently kissed the scarring, almost near her pussy.
Penny cried out, pushing him away.
“Trust me, Little Girl. It won’t make it all better, but it might help.”
Penny gasped, as he kissed her down there, in ways she never thought it could be possible. The girl gasped, coming hard, shaking, as the Doc laid on her soft breasts.
“Please, keep helping me,” she joked in a husky voice, as he stared at her innocent mien.
“I’m doing the opposite of helping you, Little Girl. We both know it.”
“Do you know how much abuse I had to endure in those foster homes? How many attempted rapes I’ve escaped?”
“I’m sorry, Penny.”
“I was waiting for you! Don’t you understand? You were the most important part of my world, and now I found you!”
The scientist sighed.
“Little Girl, I know you find there’s some cosmic meaning in all this… But I’m just a mad, old scientist! You have a whole future ahead of you!”
“Yeah, with those scars?”
“I can get them removed for you. I have the equipment!”
“Why don’t you wanna sleep with me? Why? Why?” Penny hit him crying, as Copernicus barked from his bed.
“I want to, Little Girl. I really do. All right, then. Let’s make a deal. I’ll sleep with you, if…”
“Anything!”
Doctor Brown shook his head, smiling.
“If you apply to each and every Ivy League university of my choice. And you must be approved in at least one of them. In any course you choose.”
“Will I have to wait that long?” Penny sulked.
“No,” he tried not to chuckle. “It’ll be like a pledge.”
Penny agreed.
As he started taking off his clothes, the girl bit her lip, watching how perfect he was. Tall, manly, huge…
“Are you sure, Little Girl? I’ve never been with a woman before.”
Penny gasped. What? How was that possible? She felt so much about him that the scent of her arousal could probably be smelled from miles away.
“Well, I have,” she smiled, poking her pink tongue through her teeth.
“Really? You’re such a kinky girl! You must let me watch that someday. Little Girl, this’ll hurt. Do you trust me?”
“Yes.”
As he pushed into her, as gently as he could, Penny intertwined her fingers with his, begging.
“Kiss me, Doctor!”
Penny knew how to kiss. She kissed well. It felt comfortable being with her. Her kiss was warm, she was so soft…
He knew how much she needed him.
Penny stopped, holding him too close, crying convulsively.
“It’s all right, baby girl,” he held her closer, still inside the girl like that was supposed to be her lifeline, as she trapped him between her legs, like he would run away.
As Penny cried out loudly, in hysterical sobs, holding on to his soft, light blonde hair, he kissed her forehead, saying.
“It’s over, Little Girl. I’m here. I’ll take care of you.”
Emmett Brown could feel her. His little girl. It was very difficult not to move as Penny touched his face gently. He moved involuntarily and gasped, discreetly amazed.
It felt so good.
Penny stared at him with curiosity and as if allowing him to go on. He moved again and again, gasping.
“It’s all right, Doctor,” she said panting, closing her eyes. “I feel it too.”
“Oh, Great Scott, Little Girl!” he gasped, as he moved. “You’re so… perfect! This is perfect!”
“You’d say that to any other woman,” Penny affirmed with certainty. Then Doc Brown held her close, feeling her warm little body, as they moved in unison. Penny gasped and moaned, holding him ever so tightly, as she gasped loudly, her legs trembling as she shook under him.
“Oh, Doctor! Oh, God!”
As Emmett Brown entwined his hand to hers, he gasped, unable to look her in the eyes due to his intense release.
“Oh, Little Girl… That was fantastic!” he said, kissing her noisily. He could hardly breathe. “But I actually feel awful,” he confessed, snuggling up to her on the red velvet sofa. “I couldn’t have done that to you.”
“It’s fine, that’s all I needed! It gave… meaning to my life. I never thought anyone would look at me with… well… with desire.”
Emmett Brown was not a therapist. He was a scientist! Why was this happening?
“I understand that, Little Girl. In fact, neither did I. I mean, I’m 40 and if you hadn’t become interested in me, even though for the wrong reasons…”
“What ‘wrong reasons?’ You mean the journals? I already knew you by reading them! I knew you’d understand me. You and Gramps seemed to be so much alike! He talked about you all the time! It was like I had an imaginary friend. After he died, all I had was the dream of meeting you.”
So, that was the truth, then? It was even grimmer.
“Little Girl,” he said, penetrating her all of a sudden, as she gasped. “Call me “Daddy” from now on, all right? Not “Doctor” anymore,” he moved ever so fast, as the girl sobbed quietly, moved by his request.
“All right, Little Girl?” he asked, caressing her soft breasts and suckling her neck.
“Yes,” she gasped, legs shaking again.
“Yes, what?” he whispered in her ear, playing with her clit.
“Yes, Daddy,” she could hardly speak with a lump in her throat and the impending release only that man ever made her feel. As Penny cried out, coming hard, he said.
“I love you, baby girl,” he said, as she held him, crying out loudly.
He didn’t love her. Of course he didn’t love her.
“I love you too, Daddy,” the girl sobbed, overwhelmed.
She didn’t have to know the truth. Not yet.
After all, truths always changed.
