Chapter 1
Present time, Sara is 28 and Liam is 30
Sara POV, I was sitting on my desk in my office of my company working on a new project i was assigned to when i start looking for an old project file to get an idea since the client i am working with has been with my company since many years. I was looking for file in storage room. I accidently stumbled upon a box, I regained my balance and looked. I crouched down to the level of box. I said "Tsch what is this box looks so old." I blew away the dust and removed the tape when i opened the box my breath hitched. I said "This photo? why are these stuff still here. Why?" The box contained childhood photos and highschool photos of me and liam. The gifts from liam. I picked up the teddy bear and rubbed its cheek softly. I said "Why did you had to ruin us liam? Why?" My voice slightly broke in the end. I remembered the bitter past.
(Past POV) Sara said "Did you knew liam?" sara had tears in her eyes. Liam said trying to explain "Please sara listen to me its n-" Liam was cut off my Sara saying "I want one word answer! Yes or No Liam!" Sara's voice raised slightly. Liam said "Yes i knew" Sara's world dropped. For her land slipped from her feet she said "How could you?" Her voice sounded weak tired to even raise her voice tired to argue.
(Back to present Sara POV) I was remembering the past when my secretary came she called out my name and said "Ms Rodriguez?" I looked clearing my mind I stood up and said "Yes what happened" I saw my secretory hesitating and understood that it was not a good news. Secretory said "Ms Rodriguez your father has been calling you for straight 2 hours" I sighed and said "give me my phone" I took my phone from her and went out from the storage room. I called my father, after 2 rings he picked up. I said "Hello dad?" My dad scolded me saying "why werent you picking up the call i called you straight for 2 hours" I sighed "sorry dad i was busy......... why were you calling though?" My dad went silents and then said "I have sent private jet come back to America" I was suprised at the sudden news i said "come back to America? I cant just leave business here dad i still havent finished the proper working of this new branch i can come after 1 week not now" My dad sighed he knew i am stubborn so he didnt argue he said "alright fine but you better come back after 1 week or else i am coming there and dragging you back to America" I chukled and said "ok ok fine dad chill i promise........Now if you allow can i go back to work" My dad noticed my playfull voice and said teasing and playfully "yeah yeah i allow you so go back to work" I smiled and ended the call. I looked at my secretary and said "after 1 week we will go back to america prepare everything accordingly" I said and walked away towards my office. On the way i thought "Why is dad out of blue telling me to come back America? he knew that i will stay here for atleast 2-3 months before coming back" I entered my cabin and sat down "i swear if mom caused another trouble" I sighed and went back to work............
