Chapter 1

"Finally... I uncovered the secret of the bermuda triangle and time travel!"

____________________________________________

"Azael Anderson!" My mom's loud voice woke me up from my beautiful sleep. Gosh, and I was seeing such a great dream!

"Did you fall asleep on your desk, again?" My mom asked while fuming with anger. If there was something my mother hated, it would be sleeping on the desk.

"Uh... No! I- I woke up early and was reading something and then fell asleep for a bit" I lied so that I didn't have to hear anymore scolding than I am right now, especially not early in the morning.

"You think you can lie to me Azael? I am your mother! You were up all night studying that bermuda or whatever, weren't you?" My mom asked, her anger growing even more with each second as she saw me ignore her words. So I sat up straight with my head done. Hope this lessens the scolding.

"Hah *sigh* Azael, dear, all I wish for is you being healthy. So please, stop staying up nights to study stuff. Your health matters to me more than anything" my mom said with a sigh and worry lacing her words. Maybe I should really stop staying up at night.

"Alright. I won't sleep on the desk or spend the night researching the Bermuda. Happy?" I said with annoyance lacing my words.

"A lot! Now freshen up, I have made breakfast. Today is your first day of the new semester, isn't it? I really can't believe you are going to be in 10th grade now! Time really flies..." My mom said with a dramatic sigh.

"Uh... I will go freshen up right now, you bring out the breakfast. I am really hungry you see." I said in an attempt to make my mother's dramatic words about me growing up, again. She's been going on and on about it for days on end.

"Alright. Make sure you come down soon" she said before exiting my room.

I finally got up from my desk, the points I wrote and the books I read last night, still open on the table. I take one final look at my findings of last night before entering the bathroom.

I went down the stairs with heavy steps gaining a "walk slowly or else you'll fall" from my mother in the process. We live in a medium sized two story house in Orlando, Florida. Even though we live in Orlando, the place which is filled with theme parks, I have never once visited one.

"Mom! How about we go to walt disney world or to the beach? Please" I said as soon as I hoped into the chair of the dining table. My mother opened her mouth to say something but I was already speaking so she stayed silent.

"And why would we do that?" She asked sceptically while buttering her toast.

"Because, I am starting a new semester. And you keep saying how I grew up too fast, so this could be a good way for us to make memories before I grow up even more!" I said with big grin. The main reason I wanted to go to these places was because I want to be near the bermuda triangle. I know for sure that my mother want choose the walt disney world because she finds the mascots "scary" so she is sure to choose beach for our destination. And I know just the beach to choose...

"Hah *sigh* alright. Let's go to the beach. Because I hate mascots! Which beach do you want to go to?" She said with dejected and defeated sigh.

"The cocoa beach!" I said while jumping excitedly from my seat while throwing my arms up.

"Sit down Azael, no need to get so excited. I will have to check with my manager whether I have any holidays left or not. Until then, you work hard at school, alright?" She said while pinching her nose bridge. She doesn't really like talking to her manager, as he is really rude.

"Alright!" I said while hoping back into my seat and munching down on my food like a hungry beast. My mother tried to say something in protest but didn't in the end. Well, I am just happy that i could make my plan going... I have something I wish to check you see....
