Summary

An arrow of a question, pierces the heart— Who am I, really? Alone, yet not alone, dreams and whispers guide, mountains, rain, and quiet voices speak of God’s presence. Faith grows in silence, steady and alive, and a heart learns to follow, to trust, to ask, to live in God’s light.

Chapter 1

I am me.

A girl.

A normal one, at that.

But that question…

It pierced my heart.

Who am I?

I asked the pastor.

He said,

“Not your body. Not your name.

Spiritually. Godfully—who are you?”

Words froze.

I left.

My mother asked too.

I laughed.

I left again.

Weeks later, a dream:

Alone, yet not alone.

A strong force spoke.

I cried for the first time.

Morning came.

Tears soaked my eyes.

Shock. Wonder.

I went to the mountains.

A verse I knew as a child whispered:

“My help comes from the Lord,

the Creator of heaven and Earth.”

I smiled.

I prayed:

“Father, show me you are real.”

Then rain.

I laughed.

I understood.

A voice said:

“Follow your heart, and you shall be great.”

Hours of silence.

Walking home, another whisper:

“I am your God. Trust me. I am with you.”

I rejoiced.

Faith—quiet, steady, alive.

If I could dine with You, Father,

I would ask:

Am I loving the life You want for me?
