Chapter 1-First day, first step
The morning sun spilled through the thin curtains of Mia's room, brushing over her scattered notebooks and the neatly folded clothes she had picked out the night before. Mia rushed out of her room, her bag slipping halfway down her arm, her hair still loose and uncombed.
"Mom! Mom! Where's my breakfast?" she shouted her voice carrying through the house. "You know it's my first day, I can't be late!"
Ophilia, startled yet amused, turned from the kitchen counter with a warm smile. 'calm down, Mia, you'll make it in time sit, I'll bring it.'
(Mia has grown up and has become gorgeous, a teenager with silky fair skin and lively curls that framed her youthful face. Her bright eyes and soft lips carried a sweetness that made her stand out.A delicate blossom flower that makes her beauty rare and unforgettable.)
But Mia couldn't sit still she wore her heels, glancing at the wall clock every few seconds. "Mom, the clock isn't slowing down for me! what if the professor makes me absent on the first day?
Her father chuckled from behind the newspaper
"What if you take a deep breath and stop worrying, college isn't running away".
Mia puffed her cheeks, half annoyed, half nervous.
Her adoptive mother, ophilia, serves
her a plate of steaming toast and eggs
for breakfast. "Eat first. No daughter of mine is starting her big day on an empty stomach."
Mia grabbed the toast with one hand, swinging her bag onto her shoulder with the other.
"fine,I'll eat on the way" she said between bites.
As she was opening the gate, her father called after her, "Mia! Remember, don't just study hard
make memories too" Mia smiled. "I will, Papa promise."
Since it was her first time her heart was pounding as fast as a running horse and her mind was filled with excitement.
She managed to walk halfway, holding her bag tightly against her side.
She thought she might caught a vehicle heading to the city soon, but with each step, her nerves only grew sharper.
