Chapter 1

"The Beauty Which Star Left"

The village of Love with Star lived up to names. Nestled between rolling hills and silver stardust, it was a place so quiet that even the night sky seemed to pause and listen to our breathing. They say a star fell here long ago, blessing us with peace, but for me, that star brought both a miracle and tragedy.

I am Elara. I turned fifteen this year, the same age as the legend. The elders say I hold the beauty of moonlight - soft, gentle, and impossible to forget. They whisper that when I was born, I caught the very spark of the falling star. But that same light was too bright for my mother to stay; she was lost to the shadows the night I arrived.

Grandmother Lira become my world. She gave me a childhood filled with shimmer and warmth. She told me that when I smiled, the sky itself would sparkle in response. I grew up with a heart full of respect for our elders and spent my days telling stories to the village children under the ancient, twisted branches of the old fig tree.

But my true self lived in the meadows at night.

While others slept, I wandered alone to talk to the sky. i believed the stars were alive.

"Are you watching?" I would whisper into the vastness, sharing my hopes, my dreams, and questions I was too afraid to ask loud.

The baker's son and the others would tease me, calling a dreamer or a fool. But I didn't care. I felt a pull in my soul, a connection to the light above that no one else could understand.Deep down, I knew someone was out there, listening in the silence.

One day, I knew they would answer back.

"The beauty of the star was heavy crown to wear, but as the shadows of the festival grew long, I knew I had to be more than just a girl of light. I hand to be a protector."
