Wait! Read this first
Hi!
Thank you so much for checking this story! I poured a lot of love in this story and I hope you stick with me until the end. However, I need to tell a few things before hand:
1- I’m not planning to become a writer and English is not my first language. The only thing I’m good at is writing code. However, I have this silly story that I want to share with everyone. Of course, I don’t want my English mistakes to be jarring or anything to make you go “yikes”, but I learn by doing mistakes. If you give me a heads up, I’ll be more than happy to fix them as soon as possible.
2- You need to be 18 years or older to read this book. This is not me gatekeeping younger audience, but I’ll talk a lot about homophobia, misgendering and depression (and for this I’ll add a warning sign in the very beginning if the chapter has anything explicit). Besides that, the characters are also older and I need you to understand their life-stage situation.
3- I didn’t count words while writing, and I know this is problematic for web novels. I’m not discarding revisiting this issue in the future, but right now, this is not something that I’ll fix. For this reason, expect an average of 5000 words per chapter.
4- This story is very descriptive and in third person. Not every single detail will be important or meaningful, but they would make sense if I were describing a comic strip. My brain is weird.
5- This story is AI assisted. I struggle a lot with describing action scenes, and I needed to visualize if whatever I was writing was enough to understand what was happening (and if AI could draw it, then I assumed it was good enough). I could have use AI to help me fix my English mistakes, but I’m the type of person who could become heavily dependent on the tool, and I have this dream to write a full sentence without mixing verb tenses and conjugations. One day, who knows?
6- This is a queer romance. If this type of story makes you uncomfortable, then this book is not for you.
7- This is a continuation of the previous book. Although I think it won’t make a difference for the story that I want to tell, all the world building and magic system uses the previous book as a foundation.
If you’re still here after reading all those notes, I wish that you have a great time reading as much as I did writing!
