Author's Note

Dear Gentle Readers,

Happy New Year to you all. I wish you a prosperous and fulfilling year ahead.

I want to begin with an apology for my inconsistency with updates and for publishing and unpublishing books over time. I am genuinely sorry for that. My day job has been extremely demanding and, truthfully, it pushed me into a very dark space. Writing has been my coping mechanism, even on days when I doubted myself and questioned whether my stories were interesting enough.

I am making a promise to myself and to you, readers, this year to do better. I intend to be more consistent and to focus more on my writing. I am not a full-time writer yet, but I am actively working towards a job that gives me the time, balance, and peace I need. This year, I am choosing my mental health.

I truly hope you enjoy this story. Please feel free to comment and engage. Your feedback, comments, and reviews mean more to authors than you may realise, and they help keep the motivation alive. It makes me happy to know that real humans are reading my stories. It’s enough for me.

While I welcome constructive criticism, I kindly ask that it be shared with care. I need all the kindness I can get during this period.

Note: Everything I write on Inkitt is a draft and is subject to change at any time. This story will not be added to my author subscription until it is completed.

Thank you for reading, and happy reading always.
