A Normal Night
It was one of those nights that felt completely ordinary at the time. July 2024, nothing special going on, just me and my brother hanging out at home. We were bored, full of energy, and doing what siblings usually do when no one’s telling them to calm down—messing around.
We started piggybacking each other, laughing, daring one another to go faster, almost like it was a game. It didn’t feel risky. It didn’t feel like something that could go wrong. In my head, it was just another memory that would disappear like all the others.
I had no idea this night was about to stick with me forever.
