Prologue

The man stood on the balcony with his back turned to the woman sleeping peacefully on the bed. He took a sip from the glass of Bourbon he had in his hand. The moonlight dancing on the orange topaz ring on his forefinger. Looking around,he noticed the calmness of the desert in front of him. The man was no stranger to the desert, but the air around the area stung him.

He quickly opened the balcony door and walked in. He kept the bourbon glass on the table and sat on the sofa, staring at the women on the bed. For him she was the most beautiful woman in the world, even though her beauty had been tarnished by fire. a fire set by Isra and king Sayf, the two people he hated the most in the world.

The man took the files on the table, opening it to the letter on the last page. The last brick in a plan which effectively changes the middle east and their lives in every way. He got up and sat next to the woman on the bed.

The left side of her face and head was scarred from 2nd degree burns. There was a deep scar on her nose from a knife. And her hands and arms were covered in defence wounds. He touched her naked stomach, on the wound which nearly killed her. The rest of her left side till her thigh was licked with 1st degree fire burns.

The women stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes. She smiled and his heart grew full. He leaned in her and kissed her till he felt breathless then took the pen and signed the agreement, a death sentence for Isra, Rasheed and Mohammed. A revolutionary new step for the middle east.

“Don’t worry, my love. They’ll suffer before they die.”She said, touching his shoulder.

He kept the file on the side table and buried his face on her chest, climbing on top of her.

He hugged her so tight it ached his arms, but it ached even more to think that he could lose her.

“don’t worry, you won’t lose me.”She whispered, caressing his dark, curly hair.

He looked up, “kill them and make them regret everything.”He whispered in tears.

She pulled him close and kissed him in assurance.
