"I truly enjoyed this chaotic and lighthearted poke at the 'perfect hero' trope! Dorian is an absolute menace, but he does give our hero plenty to do in those infrequent lulls between wars and monster eradication. I normally love a dark, sexy, villain-is-truly-evil story, but this one was an amazing palate cleanser between those darker bites. Funny, a tiny touch of melancholy, and a mirror that makes you reflect on how you cannot be responsible for everything all by yourself 24/7, these are just some of the delights I found in this tongue-in-cheek nod to the hero genre. Truly glad I tried something so new and absolutely enjoyable."
