An amazing story of regret, hope and pure love
"Just like the first book, this second installment of the Black Hunter trilogy is very powerful. It leaves you with the right amount of ache. The narration, written from different points of view, could feel a little longer than expected at first, but the little details dropped in each characters' perspective is an invitation to go through the process of discovering answers in this supernatural romantic story. I love that there's enough room for the characters to internalize their feelings. I am hoping that in the end, they earn what they truly deserve. I am rooting for the best for Hunter and Marina. And I am so hopeful for Severin as well. I love how these characters' flaws push the narrative forward, urging the reader to flip the next pages with the intent of putting the pieces of the puzzle that they are in. Moreover, the setting of the story is fully utilized and expanded -- leaving the readers teased! Such an amazing story of regret, hope and pure love. Looking forward to the next chapters! Hosting the Light
"This is the second book by this author I have read, and I am hooked. I now need to find out how Marina, Severin, and Damian's stories conclude. The tale is enchanting yet so firmly grounded in reality that you can believe these characters truly exist among us. It might be one of the best fantasies I've read because I gradually forgot it was a fantasy—and it evoked real emotions. Excellent writing; thank you, author, for these beautiful stories."
Wearing Thin and becoming Predictable
"I really liked Hosting the Dark but I am struggling with this one and might quit reading it. The sentence structures and rhythm of the text is very repetitive and is becoming boring and predictable. The story is drifting along and it seems like the author hasn't planned it out or decided how to end it so is just keeping it going with very little plot, action or characterisation. "
