Background: Iris is the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Merissa Parker (Jo and Kai triplet sister.) When the Gemini coven locked Kai and Merissa as well for being a siphoner and trying to run, they tried to kill 3-day old Iris, but the ancestors disgusted used what little magic they could to send Iris away to safety. Iris landed on the porch steps of the Stilinski home where Noah and Claudia arrived with their newborn son. The two raised Iris as their own, knowing all about her real family from the letter the ancestors managed to send with her explaining everything.
