Witty and Well-Written

"This short story was a pleasure to read, and I'm greatly looking forward to reading the sequel. The wit was sarcastic and very well-executed--I found myself laughing out loud to quite a few of the Coach's snide remarks. The writing style is distinctive and intriguing. Settings and scenes are set up nicely in great detail. However, there are a couple of events in the story that are difficult to believe, even if this is fiction. I was also a little bit let down by the somewhat rushed aspect of the ending. It just fell a little flat and anticlimactic. Nevertheless, this was a pleasant short read that I'd recommend to anyone with a decent sense of humor. You don't even need to have an interest in boxing to enjoy this little book."
