What is your opinion?

Nothing Is What It Seems

"What do you do when you realize your entire life might be a lie? That’s exactly what you begin to uncover in this story — one filled with mystery, hidden truths, and questions that still don’t have answers. The author does a wonderful job capturing the emotions and inner struggles of the characters, making everything feel intense and real. At times, their reactions are so powerful they give you chills. There’s a deeper mystery slowly unfolding beneath the surface, and that’s what keeps me hooked. I can’t wait to discover what’s really behind it all, and I’ll definitely keep reading Oren’s story."

Cozy, Mysterious, and Hard to Put Down

"Okay, wow! I’ve now read up to Chapter 8, even though I originally only meant to skim the story until Chapter 4. In some books, the pacing is so painfully slow that you’re tempted to stop reading altogether. But this story has something to it. It’s that kind of pacing that quietly builds tension... you can feel that something is there, even if you can’t quite grasp it yet. The woman in the first chapter was already mysterious, and the fact that nothing has been heard of her since then is very well done. It leaves the reader wanting answers and actively searching for clues. Oren and Ayara are, so far, extremely likeable and the only characters who have been named. The parents are described, but without backstories or unnecessary detail, and I really like that. It keeps the focus tight and avoids overload. Conclusion: A very good book that somehow manages to be both cozy and exciting at the same time; a strange combination, but one that works remarkably well."

Before the End

"I enjoyed the emotional premise of the story and there were definitely moments where the tension and reveals worked really well. Some chapters pulled me in strongly and made me want to keep reading to see what would happen next. For me personally, the writing style leaned more toward “telling” than “showing,” which made it a little harder at times to fully connect with certain scenes emotionally. However, readers who prefer a more direct storytelling style may enjoy this approach more than I did. I also occasionally struggled to fully visualize some environments and scenes because descriptions were often delivered very compactly. Expanding certain moments a little more could help strengthen the atmosphere and immersion. The pacing felt uneven at times. Some chapters had strong momentum and tension, while others slowed down considerably in comparison. I think the story would benefit from tightening a few repetitive elements and balancing the tension flow more consistently throughout. That said, I do think the story has potential, especially in the stronger dramatic moments where the emotional stakes become clearer. I’m curious to see how the story develops further in the next part."
