My Muted Mate

I just sat there letting the man I called father beat me. He threw punch after punch, kick after kick. I know what you’re thinking, how could a father do that to their child? Well after my mom died 5 years ago, my father has been beating my siblings and me. I was only 12 when it happened.

Before you get more confused, let me introduce myself. My name is Bliss Anna Jackson. I have long brown hair and hazel eyes. I am 5′8 and 17 years old. I have 3 brothers (Blake, Ash, and Jonah) and 4 sisters (Liliana, Catalina, Blaire, and Cadence). Blake, Blaire and I are triplets. Blake is the oldest out of us.

My family’s werewolves. That’s right, werewolves. My mom was part of a pack called The Lone Wolf pack and my dad was a rogue. Rogues’ are wolves that don’t have a pack. They ether leave the pack or the pack banish them out. My dad was an Alpha to the Dark Moon pack but it was wiped out by Rogues’ and they used silver.

You see, silver burns wolves. We can’t touch it or if we do, it will burn our skin off. We have no idea how they used silver without getting burned but they did. My dad loved his pack. They were a family. When the rogues’ attacked them, it was the night he became Alpha. His parents died protecting their children. My dad and his siblings ran and they got separated.

After 3 weeks of being a rogue, he stumbled upon my mom’s territory and they meet. My mom was the Alpha female because she was the only child. They fell in love once they meet. My dad became Alpha with my mom and they had us. After 13 years of a happy life, the rogues that tried to kill my dad, found out about us.

They tried to kill us when my siblings were playing outside and I was cooking dinner. My mom hid my siblings while my dad tried to kill the rogues’. My mom got killed when she came in the house to get me. After they killed my mom, my dad killed them and locked himself in his room for 3 weeks.

After he got over his phase, he started beating us. He says it’s all our fault that mom is dead. I don’t fight him like my other siblings, I just sit there and let him do it. You just must let it happen or it gets worse when you fight back.
