Going Up!
Have you ever imagined a guy, so beautiful that he took your breath away?
Well, he is standing in the crowded elevator, across from me now!
I can only see part of his face, as he is standing looking away from me!
But I know what he would look like, if he turned my way!
You might have seen, Male Models in Fashion Magazines, and on Runways on Television. But they are nothing compared to him!
Is the elevator, going to stop at every floor?
'Great!', it will give me more time!
I feel like my heart is going to explode!
A woman, bumps into me as more people try to push their way in. She excuses herself! I nod, and smile!
Usually, these crowded elevators, annoyed me.
44 floors of office space mean a whole lot of bodies.
But not today!
I can't take my eyes off him!
Does he work here?
I have been working in this building for a month already! Why haven’t I seen him before?
Have I walked past him, and not noticed? Surely not!
As people, leave the elevator, I inch closer!
He is watching the floor, clearly lost in his thoughts.
He doesn’t notice me.
I stand close now. Almost shoulder to shoulder.
He is taller than I remember. And hugging an arm-full of files.
Can he hear my heart pounding? I raise a hand to cover it, but it does nothing to stop the thumping, ringing in my ears.
I should say something!
But my muddled brain, can find no words!

Goose bumps rise on the back of my neck!
Someone is standing too close! The Elevator is half empty now, no need to be so close.
I can tell by the shoes; it is a guy.
Not again!
Why can't they just leave me alone?
Let me just deliver these files in peace and return to the Archive room!
He better not follow me!
My anger is rising!
Almost there!
I walk close to the door; I feel him move with me.
If he tries to touch me, ......I swear!
I feel a slight touch on my shoulder, rage fills me, I lift my foot and slam it down with force atop his.
The door opens, and I race out.
'Arrgh!'
'Good!' I turn with a smirk!
The door begins to close.
He looks me in the eyes.
The smirk fades.
My mind jolts, breath catching in my throat!
'Him!'
