Chapter 1
You'd been warned not to touch the water on this boat ride 🚣 through the dam. The water was murky, filled with algae and who-knows-what-else. But you, being the reckless thrill-seeker, leaned over the edge of the wooden boat anyway. The sun beat down on your skin as the boat chugged along, and the water looked so... inviting.
As you dipped your fingers into the dirty dam water, you felt a weird tingling sensation. At first, you thought it was just the cold water, but then it spread up your arm, like a weird, fizzy feeling. You tried to pull your hand back, but it was too late.
The water started SWIRLING AROUND YOU 🔄, like it was ALIVE 🌀! The boat rocked violently, and you lost your balance. You fell into the dam with a SPLASH 💦.
As you surfaced, you felt... DIFFERENT 🔮. Your legs were tingling, like they'd fallen asleep, but in a weird, MAGICAL way ✨. You looked down and SCREAMED 🎉.
Your legs were GONE 💥. Replaced by a SHIMMERING MERMAID TAIL 🐠💃!
You kicked your new tail, and it GLIDED THROUGH THE WATER 🔥 like it was MEANT TO BE 🔮. Scales sparkled on your skin, and your hair flowed like seaweed around you. You were a MERMAID 👩🦈!
