The destruction of literature by people who are hung up on the insulting meaning of words and the requirement to use a euphemism…a word with the same meaning as the word whose meaning is insulting. Then, when that euphemistic word becomes tarnished, some poor novelist will have to use another word...ad nauseam. Not to hurt the feelings of his audience...
