AUTHOR'S P.O.V:-
It was morning already, the birds chirped happily and the warm sunlight fell on Ernest's face, waking her up gently. As she stretched a bit to loosen up, her phone vibrated on her bedside table. Picking it up, a soft raspy voice whispered, "Good morning sunshine" making her giggle. She answered softly as well, "Good morning love", earning a chuckle from the other side. After talking for a while, she suddenly said, "Alright honey, see you at school. I am definitely going to be late if I talk to you any longer". " Hey! That's not fair~" exclaimed the other and Ernest could literally feel him pout on the other side. "Babieee, pleaseeee" ,she said babyishly and after a few trials, she was able to finally leave her bed and head to the bathroom . Now while she is in there, let me tell you a bit about them.
{ She is Ernest Kim, 19 years old, currently living by herself. Her foster parents live abroad but do come to meet her often. She lost her biological parents at a very young age but her foster parents never let her feel their absence, for which she is very grateful. She is currently studying and will take over her parents' business soon. That boy, well he is Jeon Jungkook, 20 years old, tall, handsome and the heartthrob of the school. He is one year senior to Ernest. They have been in a relationship for about two years and love eachother a lot. }
Time Skip: Getting out of the bathroom, Ernest was quick to have her breakfast and leave for school. Reaching the premises, she was about to go in when a sudden heavy weight almost threw her off her feet. "Hi Ernieee!!" chirped a voice. " Hey Yeji-ah!", Ernest said, getting her friend off her. "How have you been?!" Yeji asked. "Good, how 'bout you?" "Great!! We'll.. what about your boyfie? I heard he has a match next week?" Yeji 'asked' wiggling her eyebrows. To this, Ernest chuckled and answered, "Yea that's right, he does have a match next week, and we will not get anytime to spend together *sad pout*. But that's okay you know, He and his team are working very hard. I want nothing but success for them." They were talking and making their way towards their class when they heard girls cheering for " BLACK FALCONS ". We'll not for the entire team but for specific seven, they were the heartthrobs and girls practically drooled over them. They were Jin, RM, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V ( Ernest's older brother) and Jungkook ( Ernest's boyfriend). Girls were head over heels for them, but the boys remained unbothered. Ernest and Yeji we're standing in a corner, waiting for this to clear up so that they could finally head to their class when she received a head pat from her oppa followed by a naughty wink from JK, which never failed to make her blush.
It did not go unnoticed by Yeji, who immediately started to tease her; nor by the fangirls, making some of them awe while some felt jealousy bubbling up within themselves. After the crowd cleared, the two went to their class. Both the girls were classmates, so while Ernest looked straight trying to hide her blushed self, Yeji kept on pulling her leg all along.
Timeskip: Throughout the class, she received teases and looks, which she was used to as those weren't mean. People didn't hate her for dating the heartthrob, rather they were happy for the couple.
After Classes: Ernest," Yeji-ah, why don't you head to the canteen, I'll join you soon." Understanding, Yeji nodded and went while Ernest headed to the basketball court. Reaching, she leaned against the wall and watched them as they finished their game. Approaching the tired JK who just sat down, she held the bottle of water in front of his face, making him look up and immediately hug her tight. "Yah! You're sweaty! Get off me!!!" she whined. "Nope", he said mischievously. Hearing them,the rest of the members looked at them admiringly. "Yah! Let's leave the lovebirds alone for a while. Let's go." Taehyung said smirking, making the others laugh. "Yea please hyung. Thanks!" said JK making Ernest all red once again.
After being left alone, finally Ernest looked up, " So, how's practice?" "Good" he said. They talked for a while, still in that position when JK's phone rang. Picking it up, a now irritated voice was heard through it, "Yahhhh!!! Now leave my sister and come to the changing room quickly! Get changed and let's have another round of practice!!", it was Taehyung. This made Ernest laugh and JK sigh. " Guess it is so then, see you later baby." Ernest said, kissing him goodbye. Jungkook whined dramatically but no use.
Time passed by quickly, the boys had their match in a different city and their schedules were quite tight, so there was no way these two could talk or meet. The first few days they called and texted eachother, but as the match got closer, they eventually stopped talking. Ernest wasn't able to attend the event due to some exams but that did not dishearten the team nor JK because they knew she kept them in her prayers. The event dragged on a bit longer but they weren't so bothered.
Time Skip: Yeji noticed Ernest was quite distant from a few days. So she finally asked, " Erniee what's up? Why that long face?" " You know I am missing him so bad." " Wae? Didn't he call you?" "No, I- mean, their team won, now they are busy. So----" "I swear if that boy is upto something stupid then you see--" "Wah Yeji-ah, calm down" Ernest sneered at her bestie's protectiveness. The rest of the way went the same way, laughs and snickers all day.
While exiting the school, Yeji asked " Well Ernest, you know about the prom this weekend right?" " Yea, what about that?" "I mean, I think Jungkook was supposed to be--". Before Yeji could finish, a boy interrupted them, "Uhm Ernieshii, if you don't mind, can you follow me?". The girls were perplexed but still followed him. Arriving, they found a huge legion, fighting through, they reached in front only to see Jungkook and the team. Before she could even say something, he went down on one knee and said, "My love, I admit I am a bit late, but will you go to prom with me and as well grant me the honour to call you mine officially? -" "Yes, a million times YES!!" she cried out even before he could finish and hugged him. [ Aww, I am jealous. He legit asked her out and PROPOSED her!!!! Ahh! I am melting!! Okay,now back to the story * wipes invisible tears and starts typing back *]. "I missed you" she whispered. "I missed you too" he said, closing his eyes and feeling the sweet moment. They were so into it when [ AISH!! ] " Yahh!! Kim Ernest!! You also have a brother!!!" Taehyung whined childishly [ Jelly jelly huh~ * smirks * V- " Yah! Authornim stob it or else!!" Okay geez * rolls eyes *] Sniggering, Ernest pulled away and hugged her brother tight." Now that's more like it~" Tae said, smiling proudly like a spoilt child while hugging her * side wink at author * [ Me- Excuse me sir~DamN~*BLUSH* ] Everyone cackled out loud and could help but admire the siblings.
