Search for Shelter

The sun beat down fiercely on your exposed skin as you scanned the desolate landscape. Everywhere you looked, the land was parched. A dry wind blew swirls of sand into the air, obscuring your vision. You pulled your hood up, shielding your eyes. There was nothing here but scorched earth and nothingness, and it was getting harder and harder to find the will to carry on.

The small group of survivors that you had been travelling with were looking equally beaten down. It had been days since you had last seen a drop of water, and you were all starting to feel the full effects of dehydration.

Ahead, you could make out the silhouette of a small settlement. You gestured for everyone to follow you, and you began to make your way towards it. There still might be something here that you could use to help keep your group alive.
