"This was a cozy read. The story of a man who comes with one plan when he buys a property in a small Mediterranean coastal village and finds himself drawn into a covenant with the local otherworld beings that inhabit his new abode and center of entrepreneurship, including their alluring 'queen'. Which changes both his initial business ideas and eventually himself. With low stakes and a gentle burn romance, the story alternately amuses and allows one to feel the warm ambiance of the setting, much like Milan's guess to his retreat who come for a renewed sense of calm and centering. For those who are fans of cosy romance and light slice of life stories with sense immersion in the setting, this is a worthwhile read from beginning to end."
