My Vampire and I

Summary

Clover I don’t have memories of my birth parents, but not because they died when I was four during a battle. I don’t have memories of them because I never knew them, I was taken from them when I was a baby. Held captive for years while they ran experiment after experiment, test after test on me. It was pure luck I was able to escape at the age of 4. I ran and didn’t stop until my legs gave out at the end of a battlefield. It was there that I met my Papa, not knowing I could trust him, I pointed out a random dead couple as my parents. I didn’t have many memories of my life before my parents adopted me, but I would always remember one thing; never trust a vampire. ↫↬ Winston Lothes has had a… less than ideal life. He was stolen at a young age by a group of vampire loving cultists where they did less than ideal things to him. Unlike Clover, it wasn’t luck that let him escape his captives- it was strategy. He didn’t stop running until he was forced to by werewolves of the Riverwood pack. The leaders of the pack heard his story and took him to Green Moon where he could begin a new life.

Welcome and thank you for choosing to read my story! Before you begin reading I have a small note regarding the use of AI.

I have never and will never use AI to write my stories. I did not work my ass off to get my bachelors degree in creative writing to cop out with my stories. I put my heart and soul into my books, they are 100% me.

With that, I hope you enjoy! Please feel free of comment/like spam and leave a comment stating the date and time once you’ve finished reading 😁

Before you read this, make sure you’ve read the first three books for context. You may find that some information doesn’t line up with what is in this book, that is because I am working on rewriting this series! You can comment to point things out but if someone else already did it, don’t worry about it. I read all comments!

CLOVER

There are many things in life that need to be discovered by a young werewolf before their life can be complete. But the basic things are a family and a mate, everything else falls into place after. At only nineteen I already had both and was just waiting for everything else to fall into place.

My mate; my beautiful, kind, amazing girlfriend Faith. We were both 19 so we didn’t have official confirmation from Moon Goddess Yedda, but we both knew that we were meant for each other. I couldn’t imagine myself loving anyone as much as I loved Faith. She was my everything, I looked at her and I knew that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her at my side.

My parents; Felix and Angus, had decided to combine their last names when they got married and left their children with the last name Haddi. They had taken me in when I was 4 years old. One might think that being adopted meant I felt abandoned and unloved. But my parents loved me and my siblings as much as anyone could love their children.

Felix, my Pa, was the Alpha of the Green Moon Pack. He was kind but he was strong-headed and unwilling to trust new people. Angus, my Momma, was my shining star. He was the person I could go to with anything and everything, before Faith came around he was my best friend. Being a fairy, he was small but he was able to shift his size and typically stayed around 4’6”.

My younger brothers, River and Rain. River was five years younger than me, he was just as hard-headed as our Father and just as loving as our Ma. River had a habit of speaking his mind before thinking so he only had a few friends. He had dark blue hair and hazel eyes just like our Mom, he was tall and skinny, and had small brown wings. He wasn’t able to use them to fly and never stopped complaining about them. Rain was fourteen years younger than me, he was a perfect mix of our Mom and Dad. Even at 6 years old, he was the sweetest and kindest person I’d ever met. He never said anything he didn’t mean with his entire heart and always put others before himself.

That was all of us, the Haddi family was only five. Most werewolf families had upwards of six to seven children. Unfortunately, fairies were a species that typically reproduced asexually so procreation was a lot more complicated than my parents anticipated. They struggled for years to have my siblings until they stopped trying. I knew it nearly broke my mom, not being able to produce pups for his mate. But thankfully my father supported my mom through everything he needed.

Because we were such a small family, we were all very close. River and Rain acted just like how all younger siblings acted, always chasing after me and demanding my attention. I treated them just like how older brothers did, messing with them and teasing them. But they both knew that they could come to me with anything and everything.

“Ver! Ver!” Rain cried out from the other side of my bedroom door. I sighed and rolled over in bed, glancing at the clock I saw that it was only six in the morning. Frustration quickly built in my guy as I got out of bed.

I opened my bedroom door and the sight I was meant with drained all of my frustration instantly. Rain was standing at the door, holding one of his plushies, with tears running down his face. “What happened?” I asked as I picked him up and closed my bedroom door behind us.

“Bad dream,” He whined while he tried to nuzzle into my chest. I didn’t have the scent glands he was looking for so I gently lifted his face and rubbed my cheek into his.

You wanna tell me about it or do you wanna go back to sleep?” I asked once he had calmed down more. He didn’t reply verbally, only pointed at my bed. I nodded and sat back on my bed and brought the blanket around us. It didn’t take long before we fell back asleep together.

I haven’t given any serious thought to it, but I would love to get to that point sometime. I also just don’t have the money to fund something like that
