Summary

Benedict Chen is a man of constants. A first year Engineering major with a perfectly calculated life, he believes that everything—from structural integrity to human emotion—can be explained with a formula. He doesn't do chaos, and he certainly doesn't do "twirly letters." Then comes Alba. A whirlwind of poetry, handwritten notes, and a scent like rain, Alba is a "Hurricane" that Benedict’s calculations didn't predict. When their worlds collide in the quiet corners of the University Archives, Benedict’s rigid logic begins to fail. As the lines between science and soul begin to blur, Benedict is forced to face the one theory he can’t solve: Is love a logical progression, or is it the beautiful chaos of the unknown?

Before We Start: A Foreword

Hi guys! Welcome to my first story.

They say logic and lyrics are two different languages. One is written in blueprints and physics; the other is written in poetry and rain.

Logic and Lyrics Series is the story of what happens when those two worlds collide. It’s about a man who thought he had a formula for everything, and a woman who became the variable he couldn’t solve.

This journey has been years in the making—from dusty drafts to this final release. To my readers: thank you for being part of this “experiment.” I hope this story stays with you long after the final page is turned.

Welcome to the Freshman year.
