The King’s Death
You are walking through the cobblestone streets of the robust kingdom of Scotland, when one of your men rush to inform you that King Duncan has died. You gasp as you lay eyes in the messenger, your footsteps nearly stopping until you recover your strength. You unconsciously reach for the hilt of your sword, contemplating how quickly life can change.
The people of the kingdom are devastated by the news, but many admit that it was just a matter of time until his illnesses got worse. Your news, however, is different: without a king, you will have to prove to the kingdom your worth or be replaced by a new ruler. You head back to your quarters, lost in thought as to what your next move shall be.
