An intriguing urban fantasy with carefully thought out, complex characters
"I absolutely adore this story — each chapter tells you more about its world and delves deeper into each character. I particularly enjoy morally grey characters and tragic villains, and this story presents that well. You can't help but want to learn more about Ekchron, to understand him, and find yourself rooting for a redemption. Caelan and Lyciah's interactions are adorable, natural and really showcase their personalities well. Even side characters have impactful backstories that make them feel essential to the story. So far, the roots of the story's intrigue have been sown incredibly well. I'm at the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next!"

"So, even tho I am over halfway through the story, I still give this 5 stars because the plot is plottingggg. I love the characters and how diverse in voice they are!Nothing to dislike. I recommend this story to anime lovers and/or fantasy lovers, of course."
