Summary

Prologue

Let me bring you back to the very first chapter of this story.

In ancient ages, when darkness ruled the world and humanity stood helpless before those who defied nature.

Twelve men defied despair and called upon the gods, seeking not salvation — but the strength to fight.

Their prayers were answered. Some were granted supernatural strength, others forbidden knowledge of the beings that stalked mankind.

With these gifts, they forged weapons capable of erasing such creatures from existence.

Mages and witches created a realm beyond death, a dimension where supernatural beings would be cast after their fall, preserving the chance of their return. This realm became known as Ene — "They".

The hunters endured. They built, they taught, they remembered.

But fate is cruel to all warriors. As they hunted, so too were they hunted. Entire lineages were erased, and like the beings they fought, the hunters faded into secrecy.

Only the Hunter's Mark reveals their kinship — hidden upon the body, seen only by another hunter.

The world moved forward, oblivious to the whispers that still hold sway. Only the hunters carry this knowledge, walking unseen among ordinary lives.
