Prologue
God breathed Life into the cosmos. Galaxies were sent spinning on their paths, stars erupted into being, molten rocks began their orbits in the infinity of divine space and gases, chemicals and Spirit mixed in a broth of holy union. Among the billions, one planet was shaped whose crust cooled, and its oceans spawned the beginnings of life.
Plants and animals prospered, and attracted by the beauty of this blue-green planet and its wonderful creatures, brilliant disks of energy materialized to play among the creations of this fantasy world. These luminescent beings, manifestations from the heart and mind of God, these souls, were so taken by the marvelous illusions of Earth that they took human form. The Great Cycle of Karma, of life and death, the story of human joy and sorrow began.
Choice and conflict. Each soul choosing the path of incarnation must select a series of male and female bodies to experience life’s challenges and consequences, relearning that life’s purpose is to know the eternal love of God.
The influence of one life affects the others. Skills and talents developed over the course of many lifetimes often result in mastery, while a crime committed in one life is, in some form, visited upon the instigator in another. So also does a good deed performed in a former life find its way to reward a soul in a later incarnation.
Some souls choose to travel their separate paths together, entwining multiple incarnations with souls they’ve loved in previous lifetimes, providing opportunities to learn from each other the lessons they struggle to know in God’s master plan, repeating them over and over until spiritual growth releases the selfimposed bonds.
Earth bound souls travel the path to wisdom through painful growth. Only after a soul’s most dedicated effort is illumination and spiritual wisdom achieved by direct contact with the Divine.
This is the story of one soul’s journey.
