Summary

Andrew River has forgotten who he is. He finds himself on a stranger step on a stormy night. He soon realizes that his life will turn upside down, toward a path he had never dreamed of. A young boy of fifteen, finds himself on a step of the estate owned by Jim Hensworth. He soon realizes that he had a horrible case of amnesia. He can not remember who he was or how he got to this place. He only recalls his name. Andrew River. After many nights abiding in the mansion, the antagonist of the story, Dylan, kidnaps Andrew. Throwing him into the torment of his hateful wrath. Torturing Andrew constantly! In Dylan's mind, Andrew holds the key to his greatest wishes for power. The hiding place of the Black Crystal. With the help of Jim, and the main housekeeper, Ms. Dorris, Andrew makes a miracles recovering. Andrew soon realizes that what Dylan had been looking for was real. Without even knowing it, Andrew is thrown into the game of Good vs. Evil. Can Andrew defeat the Darkness once and for all. And establish the Light back into the World.? Or will he perish, letting the Darkness rule for eternity?

Letter one:

It was the year of 1838 in the year of our Lord. It was quite a long time ago. But I remember it well enough. Many have questioned my past. If I had told them my story, they would not have even believed me. I do not even think I would have given credence to myself if I transpired my tale. I cannot keep it hidden, though. So, I will tell you. Please do not console to anyone what I am about to say to you. They are looking for me. But what else is new. Someone has always been trying to capture me. No one should own the curse that I have. But someone must carry the burden. It’s up to ‘IT’ to decide. These memoirs that you have now acquire will tell my story. It is not my beginning; it is not my end, nor is it my middle. It is only an article about my life. However, it does not just tell the story of myself. But of a monster, power, and a war that will never end. Hopefully, when you read this, I will be gone. Please take these lessons to heart. Teach them, have patience and courage. I pray that I have bestowed the right purpose in life for you. It was indeed a hard decision to make. Do not fail me. I have faith in you that you will make the correct decision in this area. You will be a good leader.
