Venía pensando por el camino si alguna vez podría llegar a ser lo suficiente para ti. Caminaba por los pasillos del metro, y abordaba uno y tras otro.

Pensaba y pensaba, en ti y en mí, mientras observaba la multitud de gente que transitaba a mi lado. Los pocos distraídos; los muchos apuradísimos.

Pensaba entre estaciones lo “grandioso que deseaba ser para ti”. Y soñaba entre vagones con nosotros. Viajábamos, reíamos, caminábamos, bailábamos, todo siempre juntos. Cerca del mar o entre los inmensos edificios. Entre las nubes o a través del hermoso espacio.

Pensaba y pensaba, cuando a lo lejos te vi esperándome. Con tu largo y oscuro cabello. Con un pantalón de mezclilla roto. Con una playera pequeña y pegada a tu pecho. Con tus labios rojos y brillantes. Con tus ojos coquetos.

Te vi y me miraste. Te vi y volví a pensar muy fuerte si era suficiente para ti. Te vi nuevamente, y vi la gran sonrisa que pusiste al verme. Te vi nuevamente, y vi tus ojos llenarse de una gran luz. Te vi nuevamente, y corriste hacia mí para abrazarme. Un abrazo que me hizo volver a soñar con nosotros. Un abrazo que interrumpiste para decirme con una voz llena de alegría: “Amor, amor, escucha esta canción conmigo, es muy hermosa”. Así que me puse un audífono, y esto es lo que escuché…
