Chapter 1-murder

Mei lin zhao 27 years old works at a cafe with her boyfriend Evan brooks.

Shes a respectable woman, everyone seems to know her for her politeness. Shes very sweet and easy to talk to.

Shes been a good girl all her life, always skipping around conflict until one day she went to go take the trash out. Her boyfriend closing up the store while she walks down the ally between a building

She didn’t realize it at first until she got close enough to notice a man slumped over the dumpsters, no wounds visible, she gasped out loud looking at the man,

She checked the dumpster looking for any wepons. But she only came to the terms that this was definitely a muder of some kind, just then she heard quick footsteps of somone running.

She jolts her head up but it was to late who ever it was they’re gone..

She felt chills running through her whole body. She has a feeling that whatever she just saw right now was never meant to be seen.

She knew she shouldnt get herself involved and should call the police or something but she didnt..

She decides to leave it alone playing in her mind that it was just an accident. Maybe he overdose on some type of drugs and passed out on the dumpsters.


But the more she looks at him, the more she starts to recognize his face. This man was a regular at her café. He was always sweet and kind to her and will show up for just one thing a Frappuccino and a doughnut.

She runs back into the café, blabbering on and on about what she just found to her boyfriend her boyfriend wasn’t sure how to deal with this he says “we should call the police” but mei thinks it isn’t a good idea.

They keep going back-and-forth until Evan brought up one thing that rocked her whole world

“there was a man that often comes around. He doesn’t buy anything, but he does ask a lot of questions about who closes the store at night. When do we close and if there are any police stations nearby..”

Mei starts thinking what if the Café was connected to something much darker..
