Prologue
The sound of screams and cries fills the air as molten lava engulfs the lands of the Underworld —the Underworld, a place of pain and sorrow for all who suffer. Across the River Styx runs, and lost souls can be seen as the source of the screaming; next to it is a throne with a figure sitting on it. The figure sat still as Greek Aegean soldiers and a Minotaur gathered below him.
???: Today is a special day... It marks the beginning of my conquest. My legacy...
He slowly stood up, revealing himself to be very disfigured.
???: My revenge! And you are all a part of it!
The soldiers screamed, as it was all they could do. A figure behind him walks up to him and bows.
???: The Champion?
Figure: He has made little progress, but he hasn’t discovered us yet.
???: He shall...
He points out a battalion of soldiers with a minotaur he readied up below.
???: My soldiers! Travel to the Overworld and test the might of the new champion! And bring me a souvenir!
The soldiers and the minotaur cried in anger as they turned and began traveling across the land of the Underworld towards one of their entrances to the Overworld.
Figure: My lord?
???: Keep sight of him. I must know precisely what he’s capable of...
Figure: And after that?
???: Yes... Of course. You’ll get your wish if you so desire it.
The figure bows down before walking off in a different direction. The man watches below as the soldiers venture further and further. He can be heard laughing manically as dark magic surrounds him.
