Variation of Time
Speckled as spots on mushroom tops,
Plentiful as the species of trees,
Boundless as the sky above,
Depthless as the ocean blue,
Laid out as spring flowers in a field as far as the eye can see,
Clumped together as seals on a beach front lie,
Dirty as sticky-brown mud,
Vibrant as the rising sun,
Full as a harvest moon,
Ellusive as galloping antelopes,
Determined as pouncing cats,
Focused as approaching crocs,
Playful as monkeys too,
Deadly as viral outbreaks,
Connected as lands once were,
Re-connecting as lands will be,
Exclusive as nothing is…
