"It has been ages since I've read poetry and I enjoyed all 7 of them! Poetry is in a way, its own voice, regardless of the genre. However, the author steered away from the typical romance which is what caught my attention. Each poem felt different, sounded different, even though they bordered on sadness. It's not the type of sadness to drown in, it's more retrospective. Shooting starts across my heart was my favourite on. It especially captures longing and sadness; with a deserving end. Well done, author. A worthwhile read!"
