Slow dread
"The story 8s slowly becoming a horror! Great job author, keep it up!"
A gut punch to my soul
"The funny thing about this story is that it's totally plausible. Evil people exist in this world today. This story has been a total reckoning for me. Living a life with purpose is absolutely imperative. My soul aches and I can't help but hope for a happy outcome. Looking forward to the rest of this insanely tragic story. I am wrecked. I hope Claire survives and thrives."

"I’m loving this story. I’m excited to see how it unfolds. "
Confusing
"Story is good until about the time she is promoted. At the beginning you do need to clarify what’s going on as suddenly you’re telling her entire last year but not as a flashback or plot set it just changes when your expecting her to wake up in the past it’s the past but not the Claire from the future there. Once I figured this out I enjoyed the story but it began to be a bit disjointed after the promotion like you couldn’t quite decide which way to go on the plot and jumps around a bit with club and new hire , etc., several places where timeline is disjointed and one where you say on an established Saturday that the Friday meeting is 4 days from then. Overall story is good just needs cleaned up a bit up to the promotion point. Skipping into the future without warning and the direction you are taking the husband on revenge doesn’t read true, realizing he was neglectful and missed an opportunity to know her yes but nothing to build a he actually loved her on and the whole revenge plot particularly the asylum just doesn’t fit. Focus on Elena’s actions after her death for your future since you’re hinting she has knowledge of it with the paintings. I am a major bookworm who lost her way with concentration when I lost my husband and am just now getting back to reading light things that don’t require a lot of thought and overall I have enjoyed this and would read other things from you so keep writing just tighten things up a bit.
