"I am really enjoying this story. The characters are likeable. The plot is really good. I always root for the underdog. And love stories are Alyssa great. "
Not so engaging
"The story itself is good but the writing is so so. It feels downplayed. It doesn’t get the reader engaged. Like when she flew at school the first time and the teacher thought she was impressive. It should have been written in another a way. Maybe a dialogue from the teacher or her friends. The way it is written i didnt feel like she actually was impressive. It was just objectively stares that she was. The description about her abuse wasn’t very detailed at all and not hard to read. It felt objective and lacked emotion. Overall the book feels syperficial. It lacks depth, emotions, thoughts. The story doesn’t engage. It’s just text. "
