Little backstory of how I came to know the Codys ~
My family lived a few doors down from the Codys. I had wanted to introduce myself to the two kids I had seen.
"hi I'm Aradia," I said, introducing myself
"I'm Julia, and this is my twin brother Andrew." The girl said. I smiled and waved, and Andrew gave a shy smile and waved back. After that I was introduced to the others, and it felt like from there my life changed.
When Andy (as I call him) and I got into middle school, we started dating and spent quite a lot of time together. Of course, with Julia being my best friend, like Andy was. I'd spend time with her, too.
Andrew and I continued dating as we got older, and I had seen and learned all about the Codys, and not once did it change my point of view about Andy. If anything, it made me wanna protect him in every way I could.
He was there when I graduated from college, when I lost my parents in a plane crash, and when I opened my own little clinic. which is the very one the Codys come to when their jobs go astray, or one of them gets seriously hurt.
Andy and I were engaged while I was in college, and we married before Julia was basically shunned from the family. Though I still kept in touch, spent time with her, and everything despite it all.
Anyways I had told Pope I was pregnant the same day I learned he was arrested. I had told him before he left for the job with Baz, and Baz told me Pope was arrested.
I was all alone, a single parent. yeah I had help from the Codys. and Julia helped when she wasn't stoned or high. Or taking care of Jay. well I was taking care of him since she was always getting high.
But three years of being a single parent really does something to you. Though I will not be leaving Pope ever. I dont care if he has a criminal record. We made a pac and I'm sticking to it.
When he was released on parole, I knew there was gonna be some getting used to for him, and he's gonna have to learn all about being a dad to our son Andrew, but I call him Aj since he's named after his father. But to prevent confusion, so when Pope comes back, they will know who I want.
The first time Andy met our son, he was surprised and unsure. Surprised at how uncanny Aj looks just like him, and unsure since he doesn't know what to do, since he's missed almost three years of his life.
I had introduced Aj to Pope and told him it was perfectly fine if he needed to take knowing his son at a slow pace. that we have a long time together.
It took some time before Pope and AJ got to know each other and it took less than a few weeks for Pope to become highly protective of our son and vowed to protect him with his life.
He had told me he'd not go back for anyone. unless someone messed with AJ and I.
Pope goes with me and AJ to his little daycare, and he learns the whole routine that I have involving AJ and how to handle or go about things. & he's picked u a few of his own things which is perfectly fine after all AJ is his son to and I will not try to tell him he can't have anything to do with him.
