Prayers For You (A Short Story)
I love him so much, I will never let him end up with someone else.
I have feelings for a guy, but it seems he was meant for another. But I won't accept that.
"Chito! Come here to the house first! Let's have a snack," I said.
"No, my girlfriend is waiting for me outside."
"Alright."
"I'll make you mine too, Chito," I whispered.
The next day, Chito passed by in front of my house again.
"Chito, can I ask for a photo of your girlfriend?"
"What for?" Chito said.
"Oh, nothing – just give it to me, please."
"Okay, I have an extra one in my phone case. Take it."
"Thank you!"
That night, I lit red candles, burned the photo of Chito's girlfriend while praying. It was a prayer not many people know about.
"Help me!" I woke up to Chito's shout.
I rushed outside to ask what was happening.
"My girlfriend! She's not breathing anymore!"
I went back to my home, overjoyed!
"You belong only to me, Chito."
