Kirk Lions lives his life by a simple rule: stay near the exits. Plagued by crippling anxiety and a persistent "hum" only he can hear, Kirk avoids crowds and chaos at all costs. But during a panic attack at the Metropolitan Museum of Ancient History, the impossible happens: water freezes mid-air, a glowing ancient sigil appears, and three suited figures with faces made of liquid attempt to drown him on dry land. The attack thrusts Kirk and his friends—the thrill-seeking Rhett and the pragmatic Jade—into a global conspiracy involving a civilization that didn't just sink, but descended. Guided by mysterious coordinates and a message calling Kirk "the Heir," the trio travels to the Bahamas' "Blue Hole." There, they discover Atlantis is real—an ancient "Anchor" designed to stabilize the very fabric of reality. Deep beneath the waves, Kirk faces a terrifying choice. The city's consciousness is failing, and it needs a bonded human heart to survive. Bonding would grant Kirk god-like power and silence his anxiety forever, but at the cost of his humanity and his life on the surface. With reality beginning to fray and other sleeping cities calling from the deep, Kirk must decide: can an anxious hero save a world that is literally screaming for help, or will the weight of Atlantis finally pull him under?
