Chapter 1
Mathematical Yearning
"We were asymptotes, forever near yet separate a mathematical craving. Then we became a tangent, touching once, diverging fast. Our forever was just a peak. I made our love like mitochondria fuel that ignited fire and ice, two unlikely liquids making odds work. You sparked my fire while I froze your ice solid as a rock.
In the end, they say good things never last i guess we became a good example of that phrase. But what I comfort myself with are the memories we shared together. Our bittersweet moments are a true definition of what we once were or what we could've been. We were a whirlwind, chaotic and wild, then it all just... stopped.
An equation is unproven, but the proof is in the echoes."
