Chapter 1
Wahoo it's Monday and time for the first day of school. I can't wait to get back to school I missed it so much in the summer holidays. If it was my choice I wouldn't have summer holidays I much rather be in school.
Isabel will you shut that bloody alarm already its six in the morning and some people are trying to sleep.
Ladies and gentlemen who is that you ask well let me tell you that is my brother who is so annoying. He hates school and anything that disturbs him from his precious sleep or using girls. Yes you guessed it people my brother is the biggest player in school.
Ok I think I need to slow down and go back to the start and tell you who I am.
Hi I am Isabel Irish and am seventeen years old soon to be eighteen years old in about a month. I have long brown hair, brown eyes, a slim body and I am small. Bat as my dad always says good goods come in small packages ☺ . Ok back to me I love reading and my favourite author Is Jill Mansell. She is an amazing writer and I have read all her books. I am just waiting on her to write another book so I can read it. I love school my favourite subject is English because as I have said I love
reading and also I love writing. My favourite part about writing is posting my story on a website called wattpad. Wattpad is a brilliant were you can post your stories and read other peoples stories and you can also comment on people and the can comment on your stories. There are so many brilliant stories on wattpad. When I am not writing or reading Jill mansell and busy reading stories on wattpad.
Ok that's enough about me let me tell you why am so excited to go to school today. Well am excited to go to school today because at the end of the school year last year I was selected to be a tutor for this year's school year Wahoo am so excited. I worked my bum off all last year to be selected as a tutor for this year and before you ask no am not a geek or a nerd I am just someone who loves school and wants to get good grades.
Your also probably wondering why is so early well it's because I have to go to school an hour earlier than anybody else because the headmaster/principal wants to have a talk with all the tutors about what is expected of them over this year's school year. Yeah there is five tutors altogether but don't ask me who the other tutors are because I don't know them and why don't I know them well because I like to keep to myself
You're probably thinking she sounds like a loner and a loser. Well I wouldn't call myself a loner or a loser. I would say I am quite but I do say hi to anybody who says hi to me and yes I do have friends. Well I have one friend and she is my best friend we tell each other everything and we are very close. Darcy one told me that she had a crush on my brother but she quickly snapped out of that crush when she seen how big of a player my brother is and how badly he treats girls. So she is dating a boy called Ben. He is really nice and makes her happy and that's all that matters. Before you ask I have only go to meet him twice.
Am going to stop myself there and go back and tell you who my best friend is. Well her name is Darcy Rivers and she is seventeen years old soon to be eighteen years old just like me. How cool is that I get to share and celebrate with my best friend who celebrates her birthday the day after mine. Anyway enough about that let me go back to telling you about Darcy. Darcy has short blond hair in a bob style and big blue eyes. She says her bob style is Sharpe and sexy well that would explain thy way the boys look at her and why she has a boyfriend. Before you ask no the boys don't look at me like that because am not pretty like Darcy.
Darcy likes school because she likes being able to do her favourite which is art and she is amazing at it. You should see some of the drawings she has done there awesome. Darcy also draws covers for my stories on wattpad. Apart from loving art Darcy loves to go shopping she love shopping because she loves putting different outfits together with different styles, colours and item of clothes. But Darcy's favourite thing about shopping is the shoes and the accessories. Darcy's favourite clothes shop to go to when she is shopping is called sunset creations and yes the clothes, shoes and accessories are as beautiful and pretty as the name of the shop.
Darcy has so much clothes, shoes and accessories that her dad made the spare bedroom next door to Darcy's room into a walk in wore drope/closet and he even made a new entrance into it from Darcy's rooms and closed up the old entrance so only Darcy can go in to the walk in wore drop/closet and before you ask yes am the same size as Darcy and yes she lets me borrow anything I want out of her walk in wore drop/closet.
Sugar look at the time and speaking of Darcy I need to ring her and ask her what to wear to school as it is my first day as a tutor and I want to make a good impression on the headmaster/principal and the other tutors. Ok enough about that I better hurry up and ring Darcy or I will be late.
Isabel grabs her phone and she dials Darcy number and she wait for Darcy to answer her phone. After about three ring Darcy answers the phone.
Darcy: hi Isabel
Isabel: Darcy you have to help me I need to get to school in an hour for my first tutoring meeting and I don't know what to wear please help me. (I took a breath not realising I said that all in one breath)
Darcy: slow down Isabel and breath and stop your knickers in a not.
Isabel: am breathing am breathing please say you will help me.
Darcy: of course I will help you.
Isabel: thank you thank you thank you I owe you big time.
Darcy: yes you do am thinking a bid shopping spree.
Isabel: if fine if that's what you want.
Darcy: oh I want it when can we go
Isabel: can we talk about this later. I really need to get ready for my tutoring meeting.
Darcy: of course sorry I got side tracked.
Isabel: it's ok so what do I wear.
Darcy: ok can you do two things for me first.
Isabel: yeah sure what are the two things you want me to do?
Darcy: one jump in the shower and make yourself smell
yummy and two pick some nice sexy underwear to wear.
Isabel: ok will do.
Darcy: oh and one more thing.
Isabel: ok and what that.
Darcy: sit tight I will be over in ten minutes to help you pick out an outfit.
Isabel: omg (oh my god) really.
Darcy: yes really now go and get in the shower and I will see you in ten minutes to pick out an amazing outfit for my best friend.
Isabel: oh my god thank you
Darcy: see you in ten minutes.
Isabel: see you soon.
Darcy: bye.
Isabel: bye.
Isabel and Darcy hang up their phones together.
Oh my god am so excited Darcy is coming over to pick an outfit for me. Ok I better jump in the shower because if am not of the shower before Darcy gets here she will give out to me and tell me to hurry up and when I get out of the shower she will kick my butt and complain about how long I took in the shower. So I better go.
I jump in the shower and wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner and I shave and buff my body all over. Then I pick up my favourite shower gel that smells like strawberry's and I rub it all over my body so I smell like strawberry's then I rinse off and hop out of the shower and I grab a towel and rap my hair in it. Then I grab another towel to dry my body when that is done I apply some moisturiser all over my body to make it soft and smooth. Then I do as Darcy said to do and I go pick out some nice sexy underwear to wear. Just as I finish putting my underwear on Darcy arrives looking amazing.
Darcy is wearing a white off the shoulder top with a see through back, a pair of jean shorts that are short but not too short, a pair of nude coloured high heels with gold accessories to match such as gold bangles, a gold chain, gold stud earrings and a gold watch. Darcy looks amazing...
Darcy walk into my room and dumps the clothes, accessories and shoes she bought with her on my bed, she lets out a sigh of relief and says thank god for that I thought my arms were going to fall off if I had to carry those clothes, accessories and shoes any longer. I laugh as Darcy talks to herself because it's funny and it's normal Darcy behaviour. Darcy jumps and spins around when she hears me laughing behind her.
Darcy: oh hi Isabel what's so funny.
Isabel: hi Darcy nothings funny (as I say this I try not to laugh)
Darcy: was I talking to myself again (she says this as she
looks at the stuff on the bed)
Isabel: yes you were (as I say this I start laughing)
Darcy: it's not that funny I do it all the time so you should be used to it.
Isabel: I know but it was just the way you stood there with your hands on your hips and pointing at the stuff like your giving out to it or something come on you have to find that funny.
Darcy: (Darcy burst out laughing) ok that is funny.
After a few minutes me and Darcy calm down and got to work looking for a nice outfit for my tutors meeting. After about ten minutes of looking for an outfit I sit down and wait for Darcy to make up her mind on which outfit am going to wear to my tutors meeting. I watch Darcy look at each outfit and change things she doesn't like and add lots of accessories and a beautiful pair of shoes to each outfit. Let me tell you about each outfit and you can decide which outfit you like
Outfit number 1:
Skinny jeans which are dark blue and an electric blue top that is longer at the back and shorter in the front also it is see through in the back just like Darcy and a pair of blue wedge heels and accessories to match such as gold bangles, a gold chain, god stud earrings and a gold watch.
Outfit number 2:
A black skirt that comes to just above my knees. A white shirt that is slightly see through so you can see my black lacy bra underneath and a pink blazer over the top, a pair of black high heels and accessories to match such as a lot of gold or pink bangles, a pink chain, pink stud earrings and a pink watch.
If it was my choice I would pick outfit one because I love it and blue is my favourite colour plus I think the outfit is amazing and I don't like wearing skirts at all even do Darcy loves putting me in them no matter how much I complain about not liking them and how much I give out about them or how long I moan about them being too short or uncomfortable they are and how uncomfortable I feel in them. So I just have to sit here in my underwear and yes me and Darcy are comfortable with seeing each other in our underwear and we don't mind. So anyway I have to sit here and wait for Darcy to make up her mind.
After about ten minutes of me freezing my bum off in my underwear Darcy finally decided to let me wear outfit number one but only if I agreed to let her do my hair and make-up. of course I said she could do my hair and make-up because one I really wanted to wear outfit number one and two she is good at doing hair make-up so I wasn't going to say no because I was happy with the outfit Darcy picked out and I couldn't wait to wear it.
I went and I pulled on the skinny jeans which are dark blue and the electric blue top that shows my back a little I left my accessories and the wedge heels that go with the outfit till last because Darcy is hoping up and down on the spot with excitement about doing my hair and make-up because I normally don't let her do it. Plus she looks like an excited puppy which I can't help but laugh at. So I sit in my computer chair facing the mirror and Darcy spins me around away from the mirror so I can't see myself and what she is doing. I ask Darcy to turn me back around because I want to see how she does my make-up so I can try and do it myself for tomorrow but she says no it a surprise so I sit still and be quite,
After about ten minutes my make-up was finished it felt like it took an hour or more anyway Darcy then moved onto my hair and she decided to just straighten it and leave it down. Which is the way I love having my hair? That's why I was so thankful to Darcy for doing my hair this way. When Darcy finished blow drying and straightening my hair she touched up my make-up and stood back and stared at me for about two minutes making sure my hair and make-up was perfect. Then Darcy made me stand up so she could start accessorising my outfit.
To my outfit she added the jewellery I told you about and she also added a short sleeved cropped black jacket and also my blue wedge high heels and last but not least a couple of squirts of perfume that I love and it's called monsoon perfume and one last swipe of clear lip gloss I was finally ready to go to my tutoring meeting. I stand looking in the mirror with a smile on my face because I love how I look and I love how my outfit looks on me and how it makes me feel which was very good and maybe even a little pretty.
After looking at my outfit in the mirror for a few minutes I look up at my face to see my make-up and I stand there in shock because the person looking back at me doesn't look like me. The person looking back at me is beautiful and I am so not beautiful. She looks so pretty and I am so not pretty. I stand there for a few seconds just staring at the person who is looking back at me. I was just in complete awe of the person looking back at me. She is so pretty and beautiful and I am neither.
Darcy start talking to and I jump out of my skin because I totality and completely forgot that Darcy was in my room with me and she give me a bloody fright. I turn around and face Darcy and I glare at her while holding my hand over my heart while trying to get it to calm down. After about a minute my heart calms down and I am over the shock of being frightened half to death so I start talking to my best friend Darcy.
Isabel: jeez Darcy you scared the crap out of me.
Darcy: sorry you went so quiet and I was just making sure you are alright. Sorry Isabel I didn't mean to scare you.
Isabel: sorry I went so quiet and yes I am ok.
Darcy: are you sure you don't seem alright.
Isabel: yeah yeah I am fine I promise.
Darcy: good you had me worried there for a minute.
Isabel: sorry I had you worried Darcy.
Darcy: it's ok so do u like your outfit.
Isabel: yes I love it thank you so much you the bestest best friend ever.
Darcy: oh thank god I wasn't sure if you like it or not.
Isabel: (Isabel laughs) no I love It. it's so me thank you so much (Isabel hugs Darcy).
Darcy: (Darcy hugs Isabel back) you're welcome Isabel you know I love giving you makeovers (Darcy smiles at Isabel).
Isabel: (Isabel smiles back at Darcy) Darcy I love you giving
me makeover. Well apart from when you put me in a skirt.
Darcy: don't start moaning about wearing a skirt again you know you look good in them and you have amazing legs and skirts make them look even more amazing.
Isabel: uh fine I won't start moaning about wearing skirts.
Darcy: good (Darcy smiles)
Isabel: (Isabel smiles back) hi Darcy thanks for coming and helping me pick out an outfit and doing my hair and make-up.
Darcy: no problem that what best friends are for.
Isabel: (Isabel hugs Darcy) sugar look at the time if I don't move my butt am going to be late for my tutoring meeting.
Darcy: go go Isabel you look amazing I'll see you at school (Darcy gives Isabel a quick hug).
Isabel: (Isabel hugs Darcy back) yeah see you later at school.
Darcy: bye.
Isabel: bye.
Isabel grabs her school bag in a hurry and she throws her school stuff, phone and purse into it. She gives Darcy a quick hug and she heads for her tutoring meeting. Just as Isabel leave the house Darcy gets a text from her boyfriend Ben.
Ben: hi babe can you meet me at the coffee bean.
Darcy: sure babe so I'll see you in ten minutes is that ok.
Ben: yeah that does fine see you then.
Darcy tidies up Isabel's room and all the make-up she brought with her. She also folds all the clothes she brought with her and she leaves them all on Isabel's bed because she will get them later after school. Darcy grabs her school bag, purse and keys. She locks Isabel's front door and yes before you ask Isabel give her house keys to Darcy before she left for her tutoring meeting anyway after Darcy locks Isabel's front door she gets into her car and she heads to the coffee bean to meet Ben.
Before I go any further let me tell you a bit about Ben. Ok first Bens full name is Ben Holland he is eighteen years old. He has short blond spiky hair and electric blue eyes. He has a toned body and a six pack I only know this because Darcy told me so. His favourite subject at school is maths because he loves anything to do with numbers. He wants to be a maths teacher when he finishes school and that is why he has already applied for maths teacher training courses in a few different colleges. Ben also loves playing chess because it involves math. Ben favourite piece to play in chess is the king because he says he is the king at playing chess. Anyway that is enough about Ben let's get back to the story.
About then minutes later Darcy pulls up at the coffee bean. She parks her car, turns it off and grabs her purse and car key and she gets out of the car making sure to lock it. Darcy heads into the coffee bean to meet Ben. She walks inside and looks around to find Ben when she hears Ben says over here babe. Darcy spots Ben and walks over to him. Darcy takes the seat next to be and she sits down with a smile.
Ben: hi babe (he smiles at Darcy and puts his arm around the back of Darcy chair).
Darcy: hi (she smiles back and leans into bens side and lifts the menu).
Ben: don't worry about the menu babe I already order you a chocolate Dalmatian.
Darcy: aww thanks babe (she smiles at Ben).
Ben: no problem (Ben smiles back at Darcy).
The waitress comes over the coffees Ben ordered and she places them in front of Ben and Darcy then leave Ben and Darcy to it.
Darcy: mm yummy coffee (she says this with a smile).
Ben: babe we need to talk.
Darcy: ok what about (she puts her coffee down and looks at Ben).
Ben: about us.
Darcy: ok (she pushes her coffee away from herself).
Ben: listen babe I like you a lot I do and you know that but I don't think this is working me and you I mean (Darcy stares at her coffee when he says this).
Darcy: I like you a lot to and I know you feel the same way and I agree I don't think this is working you and me I mean (Darcy says this while playing with her hands)
Ben: what do you think about being friends like we were before we started dating?
Darcy: ok we can try and be friends but am not promising anything (she gives Ben a small smile).
Ben: that's all I ask for babe (Ben hugs Darcy).
Darcy: ok (Darcy hugs Ben back).
Ben: so are we ok (Ben pulls out of the hug with Darcy),
Darcy: yeah of course we are its going to take some getting used to.
Ben: yeah it is but we will be fine because we will get through it together (Ben smiles at Darcy).
Darcy: yes we will (Darcy smiles back at Ben)
Ben: am so glad that we can try and be friends again.
Darcy: yeah I am glad to.
Ben: I would have been sad if we couldn't try and be friends again.
Darcy: yeah I would have been sad to if we couldn't try and be friends again.
Ben: shoot look at the time if we don't go we will be late for school (Ben says this while looking at his watch).
Darcy: wow yeah we better hurry up (Darcy says this while looking at the time on her own watch).
Darcy and Ben finish their coffees and get ready to go.
Ben: I'll always be there for you no matter what and don't ever forget it (Ben says this while pulling Darcy in for a hug).
Darcy: I won't forget it and the same goes for me I'll always be there for you to (Darcy hugs Ben back).
Ben: thank you Darcy (Ben pulls out of the hug with Darcy).
Darcy: thank you to Ben.
Ben: come on we better get going
Darcy: yeah come let's go.
Ben and Darcy go and pay for their coffees and head outside.
Ben walks Darcy to her car. They stand next to Darcy car in silence for a few seconds on till Darcy gets a text from Isabel.
Isabel: where are you? Just out of my tutoring meeting.
Darcy: be there in five minutes just finishing having a coffee with Ben.
Isabel: ok talk soon.
Darcy: yeah talk soon.
Darcy puts her phone away and Ben talk to her.
Ben: everything ok?
Darcy: yeah just Isabel wanting to know where I am.
Ben: oh ok cool. We better get going
Darcy: yeah we better.
Ben: so talk to you later.
Darcy: yeah talk to you later.
Ben: bye.
Darcy: bye.
Ben walks to his car and gets into it and Darcy gets into her car and they head to school.
Five minutes later Ben and Darcy arrive at school just as it starts to pour down with rain. They go and find parking spaces which just happen to be on opposite sides of the car park because they are the only two that are left. These two parking spaces are the furthers away from the school's main door.
