Chapter 1 The Queen of Oblivion
Chapter One: The Queen of Oblivion
The waves crashed violently against the mountainside, spraying salt and foam into the air. At the cliff’s edge stood a woman of devastating beauty, her expression carved from bitterness as she gazed out over the endless sea.
She would kill the last royal descendant.
Only then would the kingdom truly belong to her.
Seagulls screamed overhead, circling land and water as if drawn to death itself. The Queen was feared across the realm—malicious, ruthless, merciless. Villagers who could not pay her crushing taxes were drained of their life force, their souls devoured to sustain her beauty and immortality.
Her name was Gola, Queen of Oblivion.
She had lived for millennia. Not of pure blood, her body decayed unless fed. Every ten to twenty years she moved from nation to nation—draining souls, stealing wealth, devouring kingdoms until her beauty was renewed.
She was the plague of living nightmares.
