Meeting & loving Andrew is nothing I regret or ever will. he and I saved each other in different ways.
We first met when we were teenagers doing community service.
I looked over at Andrew, seeing that he seemed to be so bothered by something but cant experess it.
so I walked over still doing what I'm supposed to.
"Hello, I'm Minerva but some people call me Mina or Minnie" I say
he looks at me.
"I'm andrew" he says
I smiled
I had taken it slowly with talking to him and I eventually got him to talk to me after telling him they say talking makes the day go by faster.
which for us it did and we had time left over to just get to know each other. which he wasn't very much of a talker at first till I started talking about the nature and discovery channel which was something we had in common.
then one day his mom and sister was supposed to come pick him up but they forgot to so I offered him a ride and we got to talking more.
From there I felt like we bonded and connected in our own little way.
Then, when I had met his mom who thought I was there for someone else.
" can I help you?" she asked when I climbed out of my car.
"I'm here to see Andrew," I say
"you mean Baz" she says
"no. I mean Andrew. I dont know any Baz" I replied
"do I know you?" she asked
"no" I replied when she went to say more thats when Andrew popped up took my hand and lead me away.
"Andrew baby who is this?" she aked
"this is my friend Minnie" he says before we disappeared.
we sat in the living room talking about different things mainly what we resently watched on the nature channel before we curled up together and watched the discovery channel.
"Oh... hi"
I looked up
"hi" I say
"I'm Julia. Andrew's twin sister" she says coming over to me and offering her hand
"I'm Minerva" I replied shaking her hand
she smiled andwent about her day then the Baz dude that Smurf thought I was here for showed up along with Andrew's two little brothers Deran, and Craig.
They introduced themselves then the two little ones left while Baz stayed and just stared at me.
"screen is that way Baz, not my face" I say
he chuckled before turning his attention to the tv.
Though it seemed like Smurf didn't think or like the idea of Andrew having a girlfriend. cause she tried to get Baz to take me away from Andrew by flirting with me.
I had been sitting next to Andrew and we were watching some documentary about wildlife when Baz started flirting with me.
I looked at Baz
"Look, I'm seriously not interested in you. You're not even my type. and I'd appreciate it if you'd knock it off. I'm with Andrew and I'm not gonna hurt him by ignoring him for you so Berry I will say this as plain an simple as possible... fuck off" I say
when that failed. Smurf caught me leaving Andrew's room after hanging out. well we were making out and he was sucking on my nipples while I gave him a hand job.
"What's your real intentions here?" she asked
"you want to know if I'm only with Andrew casue of his last name?" I asked
"yeah" she says
"I dont give two shits about his last name. I am with him for him. he and I are increadble together. I accept him for him and he accepts me for me. We are not trying nor wanting to change the other. he grounds me and I ground him. I mean I'm pretty sure you noticed that he is more calm and mellow then before." I say
"yeah, I have" she says
I fully faced her.
"I am in love with him and wanna be with him for the rest of our lives. which you likely think is stupid. but its what happens when people are in love." I say
she leaned close.
"you hurt him in anyway and I'll kill you" she warned
I smiled
"I'd take my own fucking self out if I hurt him. his my life, my everything. and no matter how many times you try to get different people to come on to me. I'll turn them away tell them to fuck off. casue Andrew is the only one I want" I say
"good. well see how it works" she says
Safe to say it worked out incredibly. things or him and I was beyond wounderful.
he'd come to my place sicne I managed to get me a little place of my own, and we'd share so many intimate moments that resulted in me getting pregnant. which ironically was the same time his sitster got pregnant and was kicked out of the family.
I helped Julia get her a little apartment so she and her baby could have a safe place. and I helped her get a job. I had told Andrew all about it. I even told him he's going be a father. Hell we shared it with his family and some of them congradulated us while Smirf didnt look to pleased.
"Mom I want your blessing to marry her" Andrew says
smurf looked at us.
"well she kept her word, never broke your heart or hurt you. so of course you have it." she says
through the whole pregnancy Andrew did all he could to help and when he wasn't sure, we would learn about differnt things. we married when I reached four months and then after our son Viktor David Cody was born Pope got more into working with his mom and I'd do my own thing to provide for our family.
with every birthday I'd celebrate it as a family. and when I had oppritunities I'd go see Julia makie sure her and J was doing ok and letting her know how everyone was doing.
when Vik reached the age of fourteen Pope was caught after a job went " south" but with it being Baz and him alone I knew it didnt go south.
and I comfroted Baz about it.
"why did you leave him?" I asked
"he needs to keep away from Cath" she says
"he doesnt give a fucking shit about her. he only considers her a friend." I say
"why give her flowers?" he asked
"he gives her, smurf and Lena flowers cause he thinks that girls deserve flowers just because. nothing romantic. I mean shit, he's been with me long before Catherine's ass came into the picture. he only thinks of her as a friend. and now thinks to your fucking ass he's gonna miss three fucking years of his son's life." I say
He didnt know what to say so I walked off and went back to handling things more than had before.
Pope was sentenced to six years,yet they managed to get him to serve three and then do parole for the remaining time.
I had gone to visit Julia like I always did and thats when I learned that she o'd so I had J get his things and we left after some drug dealer took some of J's things
"I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wounderful woman and will be missed," I say
"Yeah but you and I," he says
I rubbed his shoulder
"and Vik too," he added
I nodded my head and took him to mine and Pope's place for a bit before I asked him if he wanted to go to his grandmothers to which he said yes.
a couple days following they had service for Julia, nothing big just a simple quick burrial and then a part. and that's when I learned my husband was out of prison. cause he scared the fuck out of J.
"who are you?" he asked
"J. Julia's son" J says
I walked up.
"this is your sister's boy, he's the same age as Vik" I say
He looked from J to me.
"where is Vik?" he asked
"with the others having fun... or just doing like you always would. stare at people" I say
he gave the faintest smile before it vanished when Smurf made her presents known and hugged Andrew.
After that it had been back to what the Codys do best and J was pulled into the mixture of it.
