Prologue

He can smell the blood, Actually, he mostly smells the chemicals coming from the morgue, Sometimes even with the filter on, it could still reeks of embalming fluid. Jade needs to get that fixed or else it would kill him someday, but he can't really afford it. The smell of Formaldehyde still lingers even after he cleaned up the place. Either way he might not live long enough to clean again.

He barely fit the chair, but then again he's really tall, Sometimes he got nicknamed a giraffe. Sometimes he wished he was an ostrich so he can bury his head in the sand. His wrist bound to the chair, the rope painfully sink into his skin, leaving marks on his wrist as he tries to wrangle himself off. his best bet was to use that metal sharp bracelet that his sister June made him. Two pieces of Long metal strips wrapped around Each other in a way that feels like razor wire, it almost had split ends, like hair sometimes when it's damage, but instead of the strands just peel off the end, the strands of wire were sharpened enough to be razor blades. Jade was honestly surprised that he was able to put it on every morning, this Sharp bracelet could've killed him at any point, but it never did because he somehow got lucky enough to put it on right. This isn't the only dangerous thing his sister made but he's trying to make sure it isn't the last. Jade can feel the bracelet cutting the rope before he hears clicking and clacking, hitting the tile, as the sound moves closer towards him. His head lifts barely able to see through the blood on his forehead, He had heterochromia hidden underneath that Obsidian hair, One yellow eye and the other green, A bright colorful combo that is his soul. A light that would probably go out in a matter of seconds all for the sake of protecting his sister.

He met the gaze of a brown eyed, Pale skin lighter than his, he's a slight tan, but she is as white as a ghost, the only colors of being her red hair and her brown eyes, she wore a very lace pretty white dress with a short skirt, Her veil, which is a combination of a Diamond crown and blood, she had used it earlier to beat him with it, small bloody pieces of skin and flesh dangle from the diamond. Now she has a new tool to play with, her soft palms carried what looks to be sharp razors meticulously embedded into a letter belt, her delicate skinned palm holding the blades as if they were nothing on her manicured hands. "I don't like asking twice, but for you, I'm willing to spare it, So where is she? Where is June?" She said it was a very soft voice, sounding very upbeat, even though the situation itself is beyond such, Her red lips curved into a smile and he hated it.

He heard her name before.. "Eva, The Killer Bride" she was the most ruthless serial killer in the county well known for Horrific murders, Her name was on headlines everywhere except the small town. Yet now she is right in front of him, "The she devil in high heels" in his words. His narration would best describe her as "The crazy bitch, my sister works for and if she does kill me, I won't regret a fucking thing.

my mind was all over the place. I was reading through letters and letters of bills that were piling up like mountains. He was destroying my mind. Why did he fucking keep this place? This big white plantation house that's fucking falling apart, From the fucking tiles on the ceiling, collapsing in on itself, to the wood floors rotting. The sinks don't even fucking work, The worst part is that's the section of our home, I haven't gotten started to what's going on in the funeral parlor. The dark wallpaper with the dark brown outlining, it just makes me depressed just looking at, It's the little happy horses that once brought me joy looking at when I was a kid, now it just mocking me. The carpet has mysterious hands on it. That was hard to remove. Somebody display holders, barely hold a damn coffin. I had to use the dining table. The curtains barely stay on the wall I had to nail them down. Hoping that God no one would notice. I tried fixing everything in this place, but the only thing I can manage to fix with the damn ventilation for the morgue, but even then it wasn't enough to hide the smell of Formaldehyde.

He couldn't afford to keep it. Why would he keep it even till the end? I think that asshole just wanted to get one over on us one last time. Fucking deadbeat, he didn't mind beating on our mom, but dragging us into a complete debt too. Of course he would, that fucking asshole didn't give a shit about his kids, let alone his wife, using her as a human punching bag. I hope he pays the price for what he fucking did in hell.

I can't do this. I can't be thinking like this... I wipe my face with a towel holding back tears. I was always taught not to fucking cry. Boys don't fucking cry for shit, right... There I go again overthinking... over analyzing..

Maybe I should just pay attention to the leaking fucking ceiling dropping little water drops into a small bucket, I had to place, I'm hoping to God that it takes my mind off of this shit... drip drip, drip, I fucking hate this house.. God, I feel my chest getting heavier, but then before I can even break down..

"Bang! bang!" what the fuck was that? It was the fucking door, The hardwood door that was pretty heavy to open, I'm surprised the frame can hold it. "Bang! bang!" I rushed over to open anyways it took a minute because the lock itself has to be Fidgeted with until it pops off, Yeah, that's how it opens. I fucking hate this house, When I open it though.. I didn't know whether to start crying or laughing honestly.. I didn't think I would see her again.. The little master of chaos herself, Her same curly wild brown hair, The same color eyes as mine. A lot of people said we were practically clones of each other.

She had mom's heart shaped birthmark on her cheek. she was more of a spitting image of Mom than anything else. She wore a red T-shirt, I think I can barely see through her black jacket and wet hair. She wasn't alone though, behind her was a light brown hair, pale skin, Asian kid, that can best describe a simple Smart ass, Max. Not saying anything about his race or anything, but he was smart from what I heard he was a prodigy. I only seen him like two times before my sister left. I didn't take long to let them in honestly, I didn't care enough to ask where they came from. I wish I did. I could've been more prepared for this but they weren't exactly alone either they had a little bun in the oven, My sister says it was three months, but from what it looks like in my position Four months tops. This was a surprise, but it just means my sacrifice would be worth it."

Eva would once again ask the same question, now getting more irritated "where the hell is she?" Jade managed to accumulate enough blood from his forehead, to spit it right back at her. She did not fucking like that, and he didn't care, he had to remind himself what he was doing this for. He was doing this for his niece or nephew, He was doing this for his sister and Max. He closes his eyes, expecting the worst but instead he hears an argument. "she's not here! let's just go!" He heard it very low, At least attempting to be deep, but it's not really working on their end, he doesn't know how to describe it. It's more like an auditorial thing. He sees what he assumes to be a man wearing a hoodie that was a dark blue and a black mask of a fox with red outlining the Fox features. He was pretty short,

well shorter than Eva, Eva it's not one to handle retaliation and she swiftly took the bell and smacked him too in the face hard enough to cause the mask to fall off. The hooded figure trying to reach for his mask, probably because he smells the parlor chemicals. Eva would curse at the individual, with some sort of raw fury. She had the belt firmly in her grasp, now getting tighter and red, she was about to unleash hell upon the stranger once again but this time she wouldn't get to do it, Jade shouted "hey crazy bitch! It's me who you are mad at! Turn around!"

Jade narrate his personality best "I remember back in high school there was a girl who I knew wanted to be the popular kid, one time she drank several bottles of soda in under five minutes, not good for her stomach, but it also made her really gassy so by the time we got to biology, she was practically atomic bomb. The first time I actually just started walking around and making fart sounds to draw attention to myself, to make it seem like it was me doing it instead of her and I was surprised that it worked and it got me in trouble, but fuck it I don't regret it. Why I did it?.. I don't know honestly, I just didn't think she deserved to be bullied because she was peer pressured to drink all that pop.

Back then, her name was Mordecai and he was a 14 year-old teenage nerdy kid that no girl would ever date, unless it's for a dare but that very nerdy boy would grow up to be Marilyn Eve, The world's biggest heartthrob and one of the best leading actresses of our time. She was pretty cute back then too not gonna lie. I'm not wanting to sit back and let somebody get bullied, when I spend my whole life watching my father, bullying my mom until she's a quivering mess. Especially when a strange hooded man with a fox mask, trying to look out for me."

She angrily turned her attention towards Jade, ready to take a swing at Jade with the belt as well only for Her expression to turn to horror. Jade leaps out of his seat, now after freeing himself from The rope leaping towards her, grabbing her waist before ultimately shoving her, his feet were still bound to the chair, so he hoping to knock her down and take whatever she had for a weapon.

Except instead, he scraped his elbows onto the hard ground and was too dizzy to collect himself. All he can do is see blur, soon he'll see a white shaped blur slowly lifting from the tile ground that was soft gray. This white Blob is seen being dragged from the ground by something black, Right before his vision could fully adjust, he soon realize it was the conveyor belt for the incinerator.

he may be disoriented, narrates the events that unfold "I don't know why, but it didn't register in my brain that I heard screaming, Like the worst bloodcurdling scream, I can ever hear, honestly, it sounded like a Yokai wail that I heard in of those Japanese folklore stories, I never thought they could be real, But then again when I looked up.. Oh God..

The one machine that always cost me so many fucking employees, was the automatic incinerator, it was one of those testing prototype that my father purchased a while ago. None of my morticians wanted to fucking use it, and fuck I don't blame them. I've been wanting to get that thing hauled out just because it needs a warning label to use it, by the end of the year I had to fucking shut it down.

I'm surprised none of morticians lost a limb or worse burned alive. It had a conveyor belt that pulls bodies into The incinerator where the door automatically closes by itself, the problem with this prototype is that it malfunctioned in the three years into it's uses. My father never told me exactly what broke it, but let's be honest that motherfucker didn't care if it did break. His motto is "use it if it works"

that's how he thinks, Several of employees wouldn't even touch that thing with a 10 foot pole, What's the malfunction? Well, Anything 2 inches to 1 inch long dangling over a certain wheels on the conveyor belt gets lodged in the wheels, matter of fact, you think it would break the wheels and stop it from moving, right? Well, no in this case it just keeps going and pulls whatever is inside of it, you'll be lucky if it just rips your clothes, The machine has the strength to lift anything that was up to football player or heck even a basketball player. One of morticians working at the parlor, there was a nickname for him, Hercules because he was huge and fit, he was new and had no idea about broken incinerator. Matter of fact, no one told him not to use this specific incinerator. So since no one informed him on the incinerator malfunctioning, he used it.

He accidentally got his gold chain that lodged inside and by the time I got there, his luscious Afro hair smelled like charcoal and whatever essential oil he was using on it. I was lucky to get him out alive. The automatic doors kept closing on him multiple times, it left a large bruised line on his back, which broke the automatic doors. Now the automatic doors forcefully locks, it had enough force to slam close like a very heavy door. One mortician says it best. "It was hard enough to separate somebody's arm from their bodies." To make it worse when I went to turn it off it broke. It wouldn't turn off until it fully burned whatever was inside. I marked it with yellow tape, at least until I can get someone to remove it. I didn't want anyone to use it.

my vision adjusted enough to see Eva being dragged in to the incinerator, trying to get out, but since her dress was already fully entangled in the wheels, she was practically trapped. I grabbed the bracelet and broke it loose, using it to cut my way out of the chair before rushing over to help her. Stumbling over the chair, trying to get to the incinerator, I knew that even if rip her out I might have a

chance to save her, She pulled out a small knife and tried to cut at me, even though I was trying to help her. I tried to get her to use it to get herself free, but she wouldn't. I don't know what was wrong with her but then again, I think it's probably panic in her mind. I tried to get the machine to turn off, but it wouldn't no matter how many buttons I press. Just when I think I got her free, the automatic doors closed, locking in place, even if I tried to lift the lid, but it burned my hand in the process. Then I heard scream again, I can smell her skin melting, I tried so hard to get that door open, but it wouldn't budge. All I could do was just stand there and watch her burn alive."

The hooded stranger looked up, dropping his mask, The incinerator illuminated the young man's horrified expression, His long blonde hair only being divided by a wisdom peak separated on either side of his face, His blue eyes watched in horror as Eva burns, and oddly, he pink soft lips curve into a smile. The locker doors can be heard opening, as Jade is frantically panicking and bursting into a crying mess horrified at what just happened. "oh God, I didn't mean it... I didn't mean too.. Oh my

God.." Jade would say to himself frantically panicking on the verge of having a panic attack. "oh God, Jade what happened?" June voice can be heard behind him, Jade sees June and Max looking stunned, completely on a loss for words. Jade wanted to explain, but he couldn't even find the word himself. Max ran up to the blonde man on the floor, trying to get him up and away from the incinerator, he whispered his name "Blake, Big bro, what happened?" Blonde Blake just simply responds. "He killed her... He killed Eva... The boss is dead." He said as his voice slowly shifts to him, just laughing, just a scared laugh, as if he was trying to hide a smile for years.

June will look back at Jade and Jade tried to explain stumbling on his words "no, I was trying to help her get out... It's broken... I have to.. Believe me.." June and Max looked at each other almost like they were in agreement, They just repeated whatever Blake said "He killed the boss... No one could ever kill the boss... But he did... So that makes him the new boss.." jade's horrified expression mixed with confusion and the lingering sense of shock. "What?" Max just repeated "you're the new boss, we work for you now."

Jade completely stunned, frustrated his head was all over the place. Dried blood on his face, with snot and tears. "what the fuck are you talking about?" And for some reason, his sister was so calm about all of it to the point where she is smiling, While there was a Woman burning alive in an incinerator. She smirks and says "prison rules, brother, you're the new boss, Because you just killed our old one."

Jade was flabbergasted, bewildered, Absolutely losing his goddamn mind, and out of frustration, he just yelled. "What the fuck?!"
