Chapter 1

Dedicated to one little girl...

Despite everything, she never stopped believing in miracles— and became the woman she always dreamed of being. And now, one Unfathomable Cosmos lives within her soul, stubbornly guiding her through nights and days, filling every step with meaning and light.

Christmas Eve in New York is never quiet. The city doesn’t just glow softly — it dazzles, boldly, even provocatively. Skyscraper glass mirrors the garlands as if the entire city has turned into one giant storefront display: gold, icy white lights, red bows the size of human dreams.

Manhattan smells like coffee, frost, and money. In the evening, snow falls reluctantly — only to be trampled by merciless heels, yellow taxis, and the eternal rush. Still, it doesn’t give up.It keeps falling — stubbornly, beautifully — a reminder that even here, winter claims its place.

Fifth Avenue is packed. Crowds hum with laughter, shopping bags stamped with logos, and voices speaking every language in the world. Music spills from store entrances, blending with the tunes of street performers, and it feels like the whole city is rehearsing for a celebration.

The Rockefeller Center tree is blind in gly bright — almost unreal. Locals and tourists snap photos like they’re trying to capture a piece of wonder before life returns to being fast and strict again.

And higher... higher up, where the noise becomes muffled, where windows look down on the city from above — New York changes. It becomes calm, cold... and deeply private.

Modern apartments — glass, concrete, minimalism. Fireplaces that forgot warmth and exist only for design. Perfect sofas. Perfect lighting. A perfect world, always photo-ready. And so easy to be alone in, even among millions.

And there, behind one of those windows, she slowly slips off her high heels, just a little tired. The city keeps buzzing without her. And the night before Christmas has only just begun...
