The Grace Of Rumination

Summary

These poems explore the quiet, unseen journeys of becoming—where growth is shaped by effort, failure, silence, and gratitude. They speak of hidden struggles, self-doubt, and the slow awakening of inner strength. Through themes of resilience, discipline, and thankfulness, the poems reveal how courage often begins alone, how hard work outlasts talent, and how beauty and meaning are found not in applause but in persistence, honesty, and a grateful heart.

Tacenda

Life does not whisper

its lessons it teaches with silence,

with doors that do not open,

with people who leave

without saying goodbye.

You learn that love is not always enough,

that effort does not guarantee reward,

and kindness is sometimes returned

with indifference,

sometimes with scars.

Dreams grow tired before we do.

Some fade quietly,

some break loudly,

and some wait forever

for a courage we never find.

You discover that time is not a healer

it is a revealer.

It shows you who stays,

who pretends,

and who only needed you

until they no longer did.

Not everyone who smiles is happy.

Not everyone who promises stays.

And not every battle you fight

will be seen,

or appreciated,

or won.

Life teaches you to carry pain

without letting it spill,

to laugh with a heavy heart,

and to stand alone

when the crowd disappears.

The bitter truth is this:

no one is coming to save you.

And the beautiful truth hidden inside it

you are stronger

than you ever believed you could be.
